Chapter 9: Loretta/Lisa

Unknown POV.

I violently slammed my hands down on the table. I can't believe that little monster beat up on of my best guys!

Ugh, I knew I shouldn't have listened to Ron, and agree to let him try to kidnap the girl alone. He may be strong and tough, but he has a brick for a brain. I have to be smarter about this, I think. If the monster can beat one of my strongest guys, then I have to at least keep on trying with a clever and stronger guy than before, or, mabey, some one just as strong as her.........

I think evilly. Then the phone started ringing. Quickly I get up from my seat and reached for the phone.

"Hello Dr...."

"Yes, I'm doing fine, what about you? " I interrupted.

"Yes, I'm doing fine. I was calling to know if you would like to continue the businesses deal with me."

"Yes, I remember how you said you need a test subject for that one vaccination."

"I'll get you as many test subjects until the vaccination actually works, but when you've completed all the study's with the subject, the subject is mine."

"Okay, a deals a deal, start looking for test subjects tomorrow and send them to me every Wednesday and Saturday, bye." I finished cutting the line. I sat back down and thought.

Loretta's POV.

I walked into my house after the bus dropped me off along with JJ and Lela. I went to my room and put my bag down and got dressed into some workout clothes. After I got dressed I went outside to fed Peaches.

"How you doin' my fat little dog?" I said petting her while she ate. She snorted in return. I laughed to myself and shook my head. Peaches followed me inside and ran to the front door.

"JJ do you want to run with us?" I yelled.

"Um.... sure." He called back. I fist pumped the air in excitement. About five minutes later he came out of his room with some workout clothes on. I grabbed Peaches leash and walked out the door. She ran out and started running around the yard.

"Peaches!" I yelled. She came running towards me and started jumping up and down. I put the leash on her and started walking to the walnut orchard.

When we finally got there I let Peaches off the leash and she started exploring. I raced into the trees with Peaches and JJ following. Peaches zoomed past me. Oh, I'm sorry I forgot to describe her. Okay, she is a medium sized dog with a dark peach color fur and a dark line going  down her back and a black tail. She has a white chest with some spots you can see through her fur which is her skin, and a black muzzle. She has short legs for her body and can run surprisingly fast. Also big ears that are always on alert and standing tall. And a little fat.

"Oh no you don't!" I said shifting and raced after her.

"Don't forget about me!" My brother said shifting into his dark brown wolf and chasing after us. About 20 seconds later I caught up with Peaches then about five seconds later JJ caught up with us. Peaches started to slow down and JJ and I did the same.

I gave her a questioning look and nudged her shoulder with my muzzle. She ignored me and started sniffing the ground. Oh, she just had to go to the bathroom. When I looked away JJ tackled me.

I growled playfully and kicked him off with my back legs. He rolled off of me and nipped at my shoulder. I jumped back and tackled him to the ground. If people were watching us, they would think we were two wolves fighting each other with a medium sized fat dog. I gave him a wolfish grin and got off him.

I looked over at Peaches and she was giving us a death glare. I sarcastically yelped and 'hid' behind JJ. Peaches barked and started walking in no direction in particular. Then I heard screaming where Peaches was headed and she bolted. I ran after her and JJ followed.

She stopped at a bush near the orange trees. She crouched down and started making her way around it. I stood there and started sniffing the air. Someone was here.

Lisa's POV.

I got fed up with my mom and ran out the door. I ran to the orchard and found the place were Loretta and I meet and sat down on the tree root. I looked at the leafless walnut trees and thought.

Why was she so protective over me? Why won't she let me outside without a adult she knew watching me? Why won't she let me go to school?  I'm turning 13 in a couple of weeks so I'm almost a teenager. Aren't I? I mean, like I'm old enough to go somewhere without someone watching me, right?

I sat there thinking when I decided to walk twords the orange orchard. Then a guy came out of nowhere with an gun and started running at me. I did the smart choice and ran the opposite direction. But my stupid short legs made me slower. And of course he caught up with me in a matter of seconds. He grabbed my arm and I screamed as loud as I could.

"Oww... I thought you were a boy." He said. I was warring a leather jacket and dark blue jeans with a white shirt. Also short hair. I dident blame him but did. I kicked him in the shin and tryed to run but his grip was to tight.

Peaches POV.

(Didn't see that one coming did ya?)

I was sniffing around the ground when I caught a sent of two people when I heard  a ear piercing scream. I bolted and ran twords the screaming and quickly stopped in front of a bush. I quietly crept around the bushes and saw them a guy with one of Loretta's friends. Without thinking my short legs started moving as fast as they could, to the man and I bit his calf, hard. The sharp tang of blood slowly entering my mouth.

1042 words. *hides under her covers* please don't kill me I soooo sorry I dident update! I just didn't know what to write! But then my best friend, Judy0_0dreamy helped me out!
