Chapter 17: Loretta

I exited the bus and unwrapped my bandages that were around my hands, and stuffed them into my bag, as I was walking home. JJ, just noticing, jogged up to me to catch up to me.

"What did you do, and what the heck is that on your arm!" My brother asked me concerned.

"Oh that mark just showed up one day." I said ignoring the first question.

"It looks like a wolf spirit." JJ said completely forgetting his first question, which I was thankful for.

"And what is the name of your wolf again?"

"Umm Spirit, why do you ask?"

"Don't you think that is a coincidence?"

"What do you mean?" I asked confused. 

"That the mark on your wrist is a wolf spirit, and your wolfs name is Spirit, see where I'm going with this?"

"Yea, I do. It is ridiculous."  

Heheheheh Spirit laughed in the back of my mind. 

'Spirit' I said,'what do you know that I don't know?'

Sorry, cant tell ya. Hehehe

'Spirit!!!!'

"Loretta?" JJ said waving his hand in front of my face.

"Oh, sorry. Yelling at Spirit for being a jerk." I said rubbing the back of my head. He chucked in and pat my back. 

"Well, at least I won't think you are a weird person who always spaces out." He said shaking his head. 

"Hay!! Well thank you, but hay!" I said playfully, and softly hitting the back of his head.  I ran the rest of the way home with JJ behind, laughing like idiots. We burst into the house laughing and trying to catch out breath. We went into the back yard and played around with Peaches for a while we waited for dinner. 

Hello!!

"Ahh" JJ and I both screamed at the same time. 

"Who was that?" we both said again looking around.

Umm, down here!  The voice said. We looked down and saw a little fat dog wagging her tail.

"Peaches?" I said in aw.

The one and only. She said bowing her head.

"How did you get in my head, well are heads?" JJ asked, jestering to himself and I.

Not only werewolves can use the mind link you ding dong! she said while hitting JJ with her  tail.

"Oh haha, that's cool!" JJ said. I just rolled my eyes at him and tried mind linking Peaches for myself.

Hi Peaches! This it so cool to be talking to my dog, well if you know what I mean. But how did you know that we knew how to mind link each other? I asked Peaches through the mind link.

Well you know when we saved Lisa from being kidnapped, and stuff? 

Yea. I said interested.

Well when you and JJ were teaching him a lesson you two were not barking or doing anything to show each other what you were saying, and besides you just told me you knew.

What? How? I asked alarmed. 

You asked how I knew you ding dong! Like brother like sister. I shook my head laughing at what she said. 

"Hey, Hello! Don't leave me out of this! I wan't to know stuff too!" JJ interrupted. I swear big brothers act like little two year old's. When they don't get something their way, they through a fit about it. 

"Well then you should mind link Peaches too, you fleach!" I tanted him.

"Ugh! I and highly afended." He said in a really, really bad girly voice.

"What the heck was that!" I playfully.

"What? You mean my beautiful voice." He said again in that voice.

"That's everything but beautiful, you sound like a stuck up girl that had her vocal cords changed with another guys vocal cords." We just kept on joking around with each other and with Peaches to, until it was dinner time, then we went inside and ate. 

"Loretta, JJ!" My mom said after every one was done, and in their rooms. I slowly walked out of my room, 'What did I do now?'  I thought to myself. I walked into the living room to see my mom sitting on the couch, and JJ about to sit on the couch oposite of her. I wen't and sat down next to JJ.

"I must talk to you both. Come, follow me." My mother said. We got up and followed her to her room. She sat down on the couch chair in her room, while JJ and I sat down on her bed. 

"Loretta, I have been informed of the incident a couple of days ago to day." My Mom said. I gulped nervously.

"Wait. What incident?" JJ said confused. 

"I will tell you latter Jason. Now just listen." She said. Jason was JJ real name. We just called him that for a nick name. Our Mom only used his real name when it was something very serious. 

"I know what you two are." We both got wide eyed and gasped.

"I hoped this wouldn't happen. I know you are probably screaming for answer's right now but, I will explain." She took a deep breath and sighed. 

"Your biological father was one of you."

OMG!!!! WHAT DID I JUST WRITE!!!! OOOHHH!!!! Conflict!! Okay, you are probably dying to know why I haven't updated in so long. My reasons are that I have been grounded for ever for something really stupid, so all, yes all, of my electronics got taken away, even my DS I. And Watt pad deleted this chapter on my phone, but not on computers, so I'm at school right now tipping this. So, I'm really sorry for the long, long wait, so here is an early chapter, hoped you liked it!
