Groaning, I rolled over on my bed. My neck was throbbing so I slipped out of my bed head towards the bathroom. I half-mindedly grabbed my glasses as I went, way too tired to put my contacts in yet.
The bathroom light seemed extremely bright and I held back another groan. My vision was blurry but even so I could tell a part of my neck was a bright pink. I rubbed my eyes, clearing them up before glancing at my reflection again. Gasping softly, I touch the four small marks on my neck surrounded by bright pink. My mind flashed to what happened last night and I had to grab onto the counter to prevent from falling.

"How long can a demon live for without a heart." I could remember the smell of the blood in the alley-way.
"Hm? Two minutes...interesting." There had been a slight growl in voice, I could remember it as he spoke in my ear.
"You're mine now, little red head"
I swallowed around the lump in my throat and grabbed a rag, getting it wet before carefully running it along my neck. It didn't hurt, a sigh of relief falling from my lips. It was sensitive but not in a bad way... more, relaxing. I blush lightly at the thought of how I got the mark before going to get ready. I put a large bandage over it before getting ready for the day. I was glad that it was still cool outside so I could easily hide my neck under a fluffy scarf.
I grabbed some toast from the counter before ducking out. I didn't want my grandpa to question why I was wearing a scarf.
I make my way to school quickly, though I do notice that Dakota doesn't show up at all. Hmm, maybe he took another blood day off? Anyway, as I walked into the school, I heard a small squeal then a body almost tackling me. I was able to catch myself and whoever had run into.
"Woah! Are you okay?" I ask, looking down at the girl. Her blonde hair look familiar. I gasped softly when I realized who she was. "Kim?"
"Yeah! I like transferred here shortly after you did but I was like claimed on the first day so my lady wouldn't let me talk to you. But! You're three weeks are up and you're alive so that means you were claimed! Right right?? Who claimed you? Where is your collar? I had been hoping that Jayden would have claimed me but it seems like he's never going to claim anyone but my lady is so sweet! Wait... who claimed you?" She shot out quickly, not letting me answer her questions. I shook my head slightly, taking a breath.
"Collar?" I ask softly, trying not to drag any more attention to us. Kim quickly grabbed my scarf and pulled it off, revealing the bandage on my neck.
"Yeah! Your collar? Why aren't you wearing it?" She asked again, a bit slower this time. Click.
"I don't have a collar." I said, raising an eyebrow at her. She looked a bit shocked and I rolled my eyes. Why was she so surpris- wait... click? My hand came up to my neck to touch the soft leather now hanging there. My eyes went wide and I went to spin around, only to be stopped by arms wrapping around my waist and a body pressing warm against my back.
"I claimed him. Now let's go." His voice drifted over my shoulder, a low growl in his voice when he spoke before taking my hand and pulling me along. He was quiet as we walked, allowing me to scan him. He was several inches taller than I was, blonde with almost glowing green eyes. He was actually quite handsome... I blushed lightly and looked away. You won't catch me gay thoughts. He growled softly before taking us into the classroom. I went to go to my seat but Jayden growled again and pulled me to the back, giving a small push to put me in the seat.
"Oh... here? Okay." I said, mostly to myself but still loud enough for him to hear. Jayden gave a small nod before sliding into his seat, a small smile on his face. A tall brunette, the one that usually sat in this seat I realize, came in. He glanced between me and Jayden before going to sit on his other side.
"You're first claim hm? How are you feeling?" The brunette asked, glancing up at Jayden, who turned and gave him a look. The brunette forced down a laugh before pulling out his laptop and going to quickly typing. It was quiet for a moment and I contemplated getting out my sketchbook. When it continued to be quiet I sighed and pulled it out. I flipped to a new page and started sketching. I didn't get far before someone was plopping down in the seat in front of me, leaning close. I looked up to see the blonde who always came to look at my work, smiling softly.
"Well, 'Ello there. You've been claimed?" The blonde leaned a bit closer, still smiling. I smiled brightly and nodded, glad he was finally talking to me.
"Yeah! I'm Rei by the way." I held my hand out and the blonde moved to take it.
"I'm Sh-" the blond's hand barely brushed mine until suddenly he was further than he was. I blink quickly before realizing that I had moved. Into Jayden's lap.
Jayden growled lowly against my shoulder, wrapping his hands around waist and pulling my back to his chest. The blond laughed, pulling back his hand.
"Oops, didn't expect the king to be the one who claimed you. Anyway, I'm Shiro. No touching though." Shiro said, crossing his arms. Jayden gave a decisive nod against my shoulder but didn't let me go back to my seat.
"U-um," I blushed darkly, "can I go?"
Jayden shook his head, before running his nose along the edge of my collar until it reached the bandage on my neck. He sniffed at it before reaching up and slowing starting to peel it away from my neck. I winched slightly a the sting but it didn't last long. Jayden gave a happy hum when it was off and ran his lips softly over the marks, sending a rush of calm through my body with the smallest twinge of pleasure. I immediately relaxed against Jayden, not even consciously.
"Ah, knight, the king is so cuddly." Shiro spoke up, his British accent slipping through his words a bit. The brunette rose an eyebrow, chuckling softly.
"I would have guessed, though I really want to know why? Isn't this the one you said wouldn't live past three weeks?" The brunette, knight?, asked. Jayden just shrugged, continuing to nose at the skin around my collar with happy hums.
"Er... I guess that's true. He kind of saved me from being someone's lunch." I spoke up, still relaxed against Jayden. At some point the bell had rang but I couldn't be bothered to see how much time had passed. I could feel warm fingers on the hem of my shirt, gently moving along the the exposed skin above my pants line.
"Ah, I'm still wondering though... maybe he was drunk." Knight said, turning back to his computer. Shiro handed me my notebook being careful not to touch me.
"He's probably not going to let you move, at least not without him, so you might as well go back to what you were drawing." The blond explained, quickly pulling away as to not make Jayden angry.
"Oh thank you."
