Callie's POV
Today, me and Lena are moving into Brandon and Stef's house. I know I pretended like this barely affected me at all around Brandon, but honestly I'm terrified. Pulling up to the house, Lena asked me. " Have you been here before."
I nodded as memories from that day filled my head. That was the day I started having feelings for Brandon. I didn't know it then, but I know for sure it was that day.
Stef let me and Lena in, and I stood there, awkwardly waiting for them to give each other their quick kisses and be done. " Callie, do you want me to show you upstairs, or-"
" I'll manage." I cut Stef off and walked upstairs. I passed Brandon's room and heard piano music comming from the inside. It was beautiful. I could just imagine how focused he must be and how he just lost himself in his music. I knew going I'm there wasn't an option, there's no way he'd want to talk to me anyway.
Walking into my room, I noticed immediately how much bigger it was than my old room. There was a bed in the corner with my bedding already on it. Stef must have done it. There wasn't much in this room that made it mine. There was a knock at my door, and, hoping it wasn't Brandon, I opened it. " I thought I would help you bring up your boxes." To my relief, it was Stef.
I took the box from her and mumbled a thanks, and closed the door.
Two hours. Two hours, Brandon has been playing his piano non stop. I've never thought I'd think this, but if he doesn't stop soon I'm gonna kill him. I checked my phone to see how late it was. It was six thirty. I unpacked most of my things, well the necessities like bedding and clothes. A grin grew on my face when I heard Steffi yell. "Give it a rest Brandon!"
A few seconds later it came to an end. Finally. I got up and heard Lena call us down for dinner.
Dinner was pretty silent. I didn't have much to say, and I'm assuming no one else did either.
I was at my locker, when Mariana came up to me. " So I hear you finally moved in with your future step mom and brother?"
Closing my locker, I responded. "Yep."
I started walking to my homeroom class with Mariana walking beside me. " Ooh! Maybe now I'll have an excuse to see Brandon!"
I couldn't help but roll me eyes at this. She still has that annoying crush on Brandon. " In all honesty, I don't think he's all that into you."
" Nonsense. Soon enough, me and your brother are going to be that couple that everyone wishes they could be like."
" He's not my brother." I said, a bit irritated. Brandon is anything but a brother to me. If anything, he's more of a friend...?
" Well whatever- Oh my God, there he is now!" Mariana was staring, well more like drooling, over Brandon talking to Jesus. I saw a smile grow on her face. " I'm going to go talk to him."
I debated on stopping her, but as she confidently walked away, I couldn't care less. It's on her if she makes a fool of herself.Brandon's POV
After school, I saw Callie walking out of her class. I want to be a good person and offer her a ride, but she's probably still mad at me. Screw it, what do I have to loose. I went over to her and offered. " Do you want a ride home?"
" Yeah, sure."
The car ride was silent. Not a comfortable silence that doesn't really need talking, but more of a tension set there by Callie.
The minute we pulled up to the house, Callie got out and said a quick " Thanks," and went inside.
I contemplated playing my piano to clear my mind of all the crap that was related to Callie in my head, but I didn't because I had a huge essay to write.
I set my pencil down with a sigh of relief as I finished my essay. Then I heard someone knock at my door. "It's open."
I turned my head to see the beautiful girl, who lived in the room next to me, but my heart sank as she said her next words. " Marina likes you, and I think it'd be best if you went out with her."
I crossed my arms. " The best for you, or me?"
" Both of us. We can't continue with what we've been doing."
" And what is that exactly? As far as I know, you don't have feelings for me."
" Brandon, just please be with her, and stop being an ass about it!" She seemed frustrated, but at the same time hurt.
I stood up from my chair. " No, I won't. I don't have feelings for Mariana and that's it."
Callie nodded. " Then don't lead her on." With that she left my room.
I don't understand her anymore. One minute she doesn't talk to me, and the next she is trying to get me to date her friend.Super super short chapter. I'm trying to make the best book possible for you guys, but I think I'm failing. I'm sorry. S4 of The Fosters has such little Brallie and it's kinda draining me. I don't know how much I ship Brallie as of now, bc I don't think they are going to happen anymore in the show, but if you guys want me to continue this story please let me know. (Srry for the long AU)
