Chapter Twenty

"What happened to him?" Puno ng pag-aalala niyang tanong habang pinagmamasdan si Rye na walang malay sa hospital bed. He look so tired amd worn out.

"He passed out. Over fatigue at sabi ng doctor he needs plenty of rest." Erin explained who's sitting on the couch across the private room.

Tumango siya habang marahang hinahaplos ang buhok nito. Abot abot ang kaba niya ng tawagan siya ni Key at sinabing isinugod si Rye sa hospital. She thought of the worst, mabuti na lang ay ligtas ito.
After all this time, he still care for Rye despite of everything. Isa lang ang ibig sabihin, hindi parin talaga siya nakamove on sa binata. She still love him. Walang nagbago. She even tried dating other men courtesy of the triplets but none of them impressed her or give her a different feeling just like when Rye's around.

"Why did he passed out? And how did you find him?" Nagtatakang tinignan niya ang mga kaibigan. Ang alam niya ay galit na galit ang mga ito kay Rye.

"Oh go ask this devious triplets." Sierra waved her hand to the three girls.

"Uh, may lakad pa pala kami?" One of them grinned with those puppy dog eyes.

"No you stay and explain the things you made him do." Seryosong saad ni Sierra.

"He deserved it!" Depensa ng isa.

"Explain everything, Winter." Sierra ordered.

The one she called Winter sighed. "Bakit kapag magpapaliwanag na ako na lang lagi ang napagdidiskitahan?"

"Kaya mo yan sis. Support ka namin." Saad ng mga kapatid nito.

Winter sighed defeatedly. "Well, last month..." Ikwenento nito lahat ng pagpapahirap na ginawa nila kay Rye hanggang sa mawalan nga ito ng malay.

Matapos marinig ang mga iyon ay napatingin siya sa binata, mas dumoble ang kanyang pag-aalala. He's gone through a hard time.
"Why did you let him do that?" Marahan niyang tanong sa mga kaibigan.

"Because he wants you back." Key shrugged like what she said is nothing.

"Key!" Sabay sabay na saway ng triplets.

Samantalang siya ay gulat sa nalaman. He wants me back?

"Bakit mo sinabi?"

"Spoiler ka talaga!"

"Ano ba naman yan!"

"Sorry." Nag-peace sign si Key sa triplets.

"About time you let her know. What you did to Rye is way too much." Saad naman ni Sierra.

"Lagi mo na lang pinapaboran si Rye." One of the three pointed.

"Fall, it's not like that. What I'm trying to point out here is, Rye accepted whatever you want him to do. Hindi siya umangal, ginawa niya lahat dahil umaasa siyang tutulungan niyo siya kay Therine. Na hindi niyo na siya haharangan palapit sa kaibigan natin. He's done his part. Kayo itong madaya. Masyado niyong nilubos."

Mataman lang siyang nakinig sa mga kaibigan. Sierra is right. Pero sana ay hindi na nila pinahirapan ng ganoon ang binata. Or kahit na sino pa. It's not good to make someone suffer just because he'd hurt a woman's feelings. Revenge is not good.

"Naninigurado lang kami! We don't want Therine to get hurt again." They defended.

"Guys. You shouldn't have done that, you know I hate stuffs like this, right? Yes, he'd hurt me but we do not deserve to make him pay the consequences of his actions." Marahan niyang paliwanag.

"Ayan! Dahil sa kabaitan niyang yan kaya minsan inaabuso na itong  kaibigan natin eh." Winter crossed her arms.

"That's why kami na ang nagbigay ng aral sa babaerong yan." Fall huffed.
