Chapter Thirteen

"C'mon sisilip lang naman tayo sa dressing room eh." Pamimilit ni Erin habang hinihila siya papuntang elevator.

She sighed defeatedly. "I don't think it's necessary."

"Girlfriend ka niya, of course it's necessary!"

Mayroon kasing interview si Rye ngayon sa isang talk show sa Montejo Network tungkol sa kanilang dalawa. Simula ng in-upload nito ang picture niya, telling the world that she's his girlfriend ay naging laman na sila ng mga showbiz news. At dahil likas na mautak si Erin, she blackmailed Rye to do his first interview about the issue with their network.

"Manonood narin tayo ng taping nila, diba supportive girlfriend lang." Ngisi nito. "Masyado kasing hectic ang schedule nitong si Rye mas maganda sana kung live ang guesting niya kaso heto magtiyatiyaga kami sa taping."

Which is true, his been very busy this past weeks but Rye never failed to make time for her. She want to support him no matter what kaya hindi siya nagdedemand ng time mula dito. Masaya na siya sa simpleng tawag or text, hindi naman kasi siya mahirap i-please. And she understand his type of job.
Tumunog ang elevator hudyat na nasa tamang floor na sila.

"Halika na!" Erin drag her out of the elevator excitedly. Naglakad sila sa hallway bahagya pa silang napapahinto kapag may bumabati ditong mga empleyado.
Huminto ito at inangkla ang kamay sa kanyang braso. "Rye will thank me for this, which I can use against him." She grinned wickedly.

Marahan siyang napailing pero nangingiti parin sa kaibigan. Erin and her ways.

She admit that she missed him, a lot. Galing kasi si Rye sa London at tatlong araw ito doon tapos pagkarating nito sa bansa ay diretso para sa interview na ito. She wants to see him badly, big thanks to Erin dahil pinilit siya nitong pumunta sa Montejo Network. Though, as much as possible she don't want to budge when Rye's at work.

Huminto sila sa pinto ng isang dressing room. "Okay, I'll go in first para hindi masira ang surprise." Erin wink at her.

She nodded smiling. Tumabi siya sa gilid habang pinapanood itong kumatok sa pinto.

"Wait for my signal." Bahagya nitong binuksan ang pinto at sumilip sa loob. "I just want to check on you Rye."

May narinig siyang boses mula sa loob pero hindi malinaw dahil hindi gaanong bukas ang pintuan.

"And! I have a surprise." Erin announced excitedly. Niluwagan nito ang pagkakabukas sa pinto. She look at her and signaled her to come in.

She gently fixed her knee-lenght pastel flare dress, she run her hands through her hair and take the step towards the door. Iginala niya ang tingin sa buong silid, nandoon ang manager ni Rye, may hairstylist at make-up artist din. Then her eyes fixed on him, she smiled brightly. "Surprise."

His face lit up and immediately rise from his seat. He easily filled the gap between them and hug her eagerly. "I miss you so much, baby." He whispered to her ear.

She hug him back smiling happily. "I miss you more." She uttered softly.

Umayos ito ng tayo. "Damn, I'm really surprised!" He leaned closer and give her lips a peck.

Agad siyang namula doon, hindi lang sila ang tao sa silid. "Thanks to Erin."

"Yeah, thanks to me love birds. Pasalamat ka Rye at pinilit ko siyang pumunta dito ngayon." Singit naman ni Erin.

"Thank you, I owe you one." Bumaling nito sa dalaga. "You're not busy with Crescent?" He asked her resting his hand on her lower back.

Marahan siyang umiling. "Erin made me clear my whole sched for today. So I've got nothing to do but support you here." Ngiti niya.
