Chapter 8

Nicole's P.O.V

We walked to class laughing at my weird dream. We were talking about our future, how he was gonna make it as one of the best rappers on earth. And i was talking about becoming either an actress or a doctor.

" So you gonna go from the set to the hospital" he said giggling.

" Well i personally want to be an actress, but my parents want me to be a doctor"

"After my mom died, i thought it was best i followed what she wanted." I said with light tears dropping from my face.

"oh" Kendrick said wiping the tears from my face.

"lets stop all this sad stuff, and get to class" i said getting uncomfortable with myself.

Lunch

"Nicole" Kendrick shouted.

"Hey" I said waving at him. I was still searching for Nicki. I hadn't seen her all day.

"Where ya going" he asked putting his hands in his pockets.

OMG he was so damn cute.

" i was just looking for nicki" i said still looking around.

"um, she didn't come to school today", he said.

"oh" i said kind of embarassed as to she was my best friend.

"what do you wanna do" i asked him.

"um, i don't know i usually write music during this time"

"mhm k,"

I made up my mind to tell kendrick how i really felt about him.

"Hey Kendrick" I said while we were walking to the abandoned car.

"What's up Nic" he said stopping, looking back and staring me straight in the eye.

"um...um...i"

As i was about to say it the bell rang.

SHIT! I let this pass by me again. Why was i so scared to tell him this. Was it because i was scared if he didn't feel the same way about me?

As we were walking to class, Kendrick stopped me.

"What was it you had to tell me" he said.

"Um..um, i was saying i......"

" I wanted to know if you"

" wanted to sleep by me this weekend, i mean cuz your folks are out of town and ......." i said.  panicked. How could I be so stupid.

"Sure, i'll take you home, then go home and get my clothes".

Even I didn't tell him what i wanted, i was going to have him all to myself for the whole weekend. Luckily his show was cancelled because Dr. dre was finishing up on detox. Maybe we could go to that party on Arlene Avenue. Maybe he could become mine.?!
