My eyes begin fluttering open as I groan, looking up. Sans was still asleep, his eyes closed. A smile spreads across my face as I lean up, kissing the tip of his nose. His eyes flutter a bit and I giggle softly. Laying my head back down on his chest, I sigh.
"N-No," he says. Looking up, I realize he is talking in his sleep. "N-No! Don't touch her! Don't you dare!" he cries. Sitting up quickly, I look at him with concern. "Chara! Don't!" he yells, shooting up. His eyes pop open and he looks at me. It takes him a second to assess the situation, glancing around a second. Tears form in his eyes and he wraps his arms around me, pulling me toward him. Pulling away, I hold his head in my hands.
"Tell me, what happened when I was gone?" I ask, looking into his eyes. One flashes blue for just a second before he looks away. Searching his face for something, anything that might tell me what he was dreaming about.
"I-It's nothing," he says, rolling over. I shake his shoulder, showing him I wasn't letting this go. "Really, just a silly nightmare. Now come here and snuggle with me," he says, smiling. Sighing, I roll over and face him, smiling. He kisses me and I rest my forehead on his. It's nice, being here. I blink and almost gasp. It was him. It was Sans. Not normal Sans, but Undertale Sans. My eyes widen as I blink again. He was back to normal. His eyes close as he falls back to sleep, his arm draped around me.
"Ok," I murmur, letting myself fall back asleep.
"Hey, human. Don't you know how to greet a new friend? Come on, turn around," a familiar voice says. My eyes widen as I spin on my heels. In front of me stood a 28 year old Sans. A smile was planted on his face. Reaching out to shake his hand, I hesitate. Once I take it, a long fart comes out. "Heh, the old whoopee cushion in the palm trick. Classic, right?" he says, smiling at me. Our eyes remain locked as I realize something. This is the first time he has ever seen me. His eyes say it all. Their full of interest and curiosity, not familiarity. Holding back tears, I release his hand. He sees me upset and glances around. "Hey, whoa, what's going on?" he asks me. Tears begin to pour out of my eyes as I manage to whisper the words.
"You aren't my Sans," I sob quietly. He looks at my face and I drop to my knees. Bending down, he puts a skeleton hand on my shoulder. My body shakes as he looks around nervously. Honestly, I have no idea what's going on. One second I'm with Sans and Papyrus, playing in the snow, now I'm in some weird world where the monsters can't turn into humans.
"Wh-What do you mean kid?" he asks. Looking up at him, I see it in his eyes. He knows exactly what I'm talking about; he just wants to know if I do. Standing up, I wipe my tears with my sleeve. Looking down at him with my deep brown eyes. They dig into him. He sighs and stands up himself. "Alright, come with me," he says. Turning, he begins walking until we get to a clearing. The snow falls around us as he shoves his hands in his pockets and closes his eyes. "Alright, Ink. We have a problem. A big problem," he says. Nothing happens. Furrowing his eyebrows, he tries again. "Seriously, Ink. Get your butt down here," he says. Suddenly, a swarm of black comes from the rocks above, landing in front of Other Sans. The black melts away, revealing another Sans. My eyes widen as I look at them.
"You can't just call and expect me to automatically come. I am a very busy person," Ink says, crossing his arms. Other Sans rolls his eyes and Ink sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Alright, what's going on?" he says, looking at Other Sans. He motions to me and Ink's eyes land on me. "What the heck?" he asks, walking over to me. "Frisk, what are you doing here?" he asks, looking at me.
"I don't know!" I cry, throwing out my seven year old arms. "I was hanging out with Pap and Sans and suddenly, I was here. Well, I mean, there was this really weird thing, a flower thing. It attacked me, but I didn't think anything of it," I say, thinking back. Slowly, I was getting louder. It was straining my voice, but I could care less.
