"Just like you will be," a familiar voice says. Shooting up, I gasp. Nightmare. He's here. His empty words echo around the room, leaving an ominous tone on them. Where could he be? Standing up, continuously looking for him. He could be anywhere. "I wonder, how did you get here?" he asks. He steps into my vision, only a slightly light silhouette against the black background. Our eyes meet as his shine a radiant white. Vengeful and angry.
"Where am I?" I ask.
"In my home," he responds, holding out his arms. Looking around, it makes sense. Being the embodiment of all dark emotions, it's logical that he would enjoy dark places. He scoffs, glancing around. "What, you think I like it here?" he asks.
"Well, I guess not," I respond. He rolls his eyes.
"You think that just because I am all bad emotions doesn't mean I have normal ones too?" he asks. Our eyes meet. Strange of him to say. Another sigh excapes his lips as he turns on his heels. Narrowing my eyes, I watch his movements. "Leave, or I kill you," he says, turning.
"Try," I retort. A smirk crosses his leg.
"Hows that leg of yours?" he asks, walking over. My body freezes. Crap, I forgot about that. He summons his staff, twirling it in his hand. Sweat dribbles down my face as my heart pounds. Good thoughts, good feelings! "Just got that cast of today, didn't you? Would be kind of annoying if you, I don't know, broke it again?" he laughs, raising the pole above his head. Good, what's good? Ink lied! Sans has been killing! Who? Who?! My eyes widen. Dream. Just in time, I grab his staff, grabbing it before he breaks my leg. His eyes are wide as I shake my finger at him.
"Rude," I say, pulling him towards me. Our faces are inches from each other as our gazes stay with each other. "You should at least greet a guest before attempting to kill them," I counter, landing a punch in his stomach that sends him flying back. Dream's light fills me with determination as I prepare for his counter attack. He laughs, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.
"Well, that's certainly interesting," he says, his tentacles appearing. They shoot towards me, spinning like a drill. I jump out of the way, effectively dodging them. He starts to get frustrates, and his mind wonders. Taking the chance, I slide past his tendrils and between his legs, landing a kick square in his back. He gasps, blood spurting from his mouth as he stumbles forward. The other Sans's, they all seem to be able to take more damage, yet they can't dodge. Spinning around, he swings his foot at me. Grabbing it, I use it to swing him around and throw him. How am I doing this without the light? It makes no sense! Looking down at my hands, Nightmare climbs to his feet. "You're more in tune this time," he says, stumbling. My eyes widen. Have I done that much damage? Hiding my confusion, I scoff.
"Yeah? Thanks for the compliment," I say, shooting towards him. He teleports, meeting me in the middle. Our fists collide, sending a rush of wind around us. He's almost as powerful as Ink, amazing! Although, I question why Ink would make someone stronger than him. He swings at me and I dodge it, kicking him in the side. He swings to kick me, but changes to a punch before I can block it. It lands right on my boob. My eyes widen as I give him the dirtiest look I have ever given someone. "You little fucking prick!" I scream, kicking him between the legs. He gasps, falling to his knees.
"That was a low blow!" he cries, looking at me.
"Yeah, like punching a girl in the boob isn't!" I yell back, kicking him in the side. It sends him flying. He groans loudly and I march over, slamming my fist down square in the middle of his face. A loud cracking noise can be heard as I jump back, shaking my fist. "Goddamn it! Fuck me, Christ!" I shout, shaking my wrist. It isn't broken, just sprained really bad. He doesn't move. Looking down, I notice that his eyes are dim. Nearly not glowing. My eyes widen. Reaching down, I touch his face. He doesn't move. "Hey," I yell, slapping him. He doesn't move. Is he out cold. Sighing, I throw my head back. What do I do now?! Go back to Ink? No, I don't think I'm quite ready to talk to him right now. Suddenly, it pops in my head. Walking over to him, I pull his arm over my shoulder. Just touching him makes me mad, for some reason. Closing my eyes, I teleport us to the one place I know I can always go.
Sans's room.
