Every universe has it's own version of everything. Even universe like Error and Nightmares' have their own versions of Waterfall, Hotland, and Snowden. Every world has their own versions of Sans's house, Undyne's house, and, by default, the True Lab. And I'm going to the one world Nightmare holds the most hate toward.

Underswap.

The happiest, most energetic world there is. Once I open my eyes, we all look around. It's dark, random shadows bouncing around the place. Releasing Error and Ink's hands, I look down at my leg. The pain is dulled, but only slightly. Sighing, I look at Error. He rubs his arm.

"Alright, guys, I got some food for you!" Undyne's voice calls out sweetly. Rolling my eyes, Error grabs my arm. He looks panicked. She walks into our sight, her eyes almost instantly landing on me. Eyes widening, she glances around. "Wh-What are you doing here? Wh-Who said you could come in?!" she cries, dropping her bag of dog food.

"Go get Sans and Papyrus," I say, looking at her.

"What? How do yo-"

"Now!" I yell, anger in my voice. She nods and runs out. Error looks at me and leans against the wall. A sigh of relief escapes his lips as Ink continues it sit there, motionless. Leaning down, I look into his eyes. They're still dark, but seem slightly responsive to my movements. Grabbing his hand, I hold it against my chest.

"Undyne, slow down, what's going on?" Papyrus's voice says. Turning, I look over at him as he and Blue Sans walk in. Smoke comes from Papyrus's cigarette as he looks over at us, our eyes meeting. "It's alright, Undyne, we got this," he says. She nods and rushes out of the room. Blue looks at us, his eyes widening. "What are you guys doing here?" Papyrus says.

"It's Ink, something's wrong," I say. Walking over, Blue rests his hand on Ink's. A looks of worry cross his face as he looks back at Pap. "He was attacked by Nightmare. Wait a sec, I'm forgetting something. Someone . . ." I ponder. Throwing my hands over my mouth, I gasp. "We left Dream alone!" I cry. Error gasps.

"I'll go get him, you three help Ink," Error says, teleporting away. Nodding, I look over at Pap and Blue. They help me lift Ink onto the table, since my leg is still broken. Pap looks at it, tapping his chin. He grabs a pair of scissors and starts cutting at my leggings.

"I'm fine," I murmur.

"Not really. Your leg is the size of a balloon. He really gotcha," Pap says, looking at it. Rolling my eyes, I look over at Ink. Slowly, the darkness is disappearing. I think being here, in his own world, is helping on it's own. Looking back at Pap, he gently touches my leg. Wincing, I look away. "Yeah, that's broke alright. Here," he says, pulling me onto the operating table. "Undyne, come in here, would ya?!" Pap yells. Undyne runs in, her heels clicking on the floor. She takes a good look at me in the light, gasping.

"Vita?! I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you!" she cries.

"Undyne, can you help with this leg?" Pap says. She walks over, looking down at it. Blue sits by Ink, a worried look on his face. Undyne sighs, resting her hands on her hips. Nodding, Pap lets out a sigh of relief.

"It was a clean break, but we are going to need to set it," she says. My eyes widen. Why do I get the sickening sense that it isn't going to be pleasant? Pap nods and lays me down. "Alright, Vita, this is going to hurt. A lot," Undyne says. Heart pounding, I begin to get nervous. Undyne rests her hands on my leg, ignoring my gasp of pain. Closing her eyes, she sighs. Suddenly, she puts all of her weight on my leg. Screaming, I feel as the bone snaps back into place. It rings in the room, echoing. Sweat pools around me as black edges at me vision. Undyne cries triumphantly. "We did it!"

"Y-Yeah, that's nice and all, but could you get something for the pain before I pass out," I say. Undyne gasps and nods, running to a cabinet in the corner of the room. Pap sighs and walks over to Blue. He looks down at Ink. The darkness is almost gone. It's strange, can they not see the shadow over him? They would be more relieved if they could.

"I'm worried," Blue says. Pap nods as Undyne runs back, injecting my arm.

"It's be ok," I say. He looks at me, smiling.

"WE'RE BACK!" Error yells, teleporting back into the room. My eyes widen as I look over at Dream. He collapses to the ground, gasping for air. Trying to get up, I gasp out of pain. Undyne lays me back down, raising an eyebrow. Sighing, I look over at Dream. Slowly, he crawls over to the edge of my bed. Error drags himself over. "Heya," he says. Suddenly, his eyes roll back as he passes out on the ground. He snores loudly, causing me to giggle.

"That. Was. Exhausting," Dream cries, laying down on the ground. Pap walks over, looking down at him. He narrows his eyes at him and Dream reaches up. "Hi, I'm Dream, the living embodiment of all your good feelings," he says, shaking Pap's hand. Rolling my eyes, I look down at him.

"Nightmare?" I ask.

"Just as beat up as I am. A little more. He won't be heading our way for a while," Dream says. Sighing, I lean back. That is a relief if I've ever heard one. The medication begins to numb the pain as Undyne walks over with a bandage. She uses some metal and the bandage to make a proper splint. Looking at Pap and Blue, she nods and heads out. Turning back to Ink, my eyes widen. The darkness is gone. Suddenly, he sits up, gasping for air. Dream lets out a relieved sigh as Ink jumps up.

"What the hell just happ-" he yells, stopping as his eyes land on Error. His eyes are wide as Error looks away. "You son of a-" he yells, tackling him. Growling, I look at Pap for assistance. He walks over and pulls the two away from each other. Ink swings at Error as Pap puts Error down. Rolling my eyes, Error walks over to my side. "Get away from her, you tw-"

"Alright, already! Shut up!" I growl. Ink freezes, looking between us. "He helped us find you! He's the reason you're alive, so would it kill you shut the fuck up and listen?" I yell, throwing my arms out. Everyone's eyes are wide as they look at it. Blue has his hands over his ears, just as Pap must have directed him to. Sighing, I lean back. "You two need some major therapy, seriously," I murmur. Dream crawls onto the bed with me, crossing his arms and nodding. "Error isn't here to hurt us. He's sane right now," I say, looking at him. He rubs the back of his head and Ink looks at him.

"Wait, what?" he asks.

"When he attacks you, he doesn't mean to. His sanity is just, well, depleting. Quickly," I say. Error nods a bit Pap slowly puts Ink down. Turning to him, I nod. "We have to go. Thanks, really," I say. He nods and I teleport us out of there and to my world. Dream walks over, turning on the light. Error and Ink look at each other as I stumble to the ground. Both of them run over, an arm around each one. They look at each other, then silently carry me over to the bed. Laying me down, they sigh. "Ugh," I groan.

"Are you ok? What happened to your leg?" Ink asks, looking at the cast.

"Nightmare. He happened," Dream says, sitting in the corner.

"Wait, what?! How did he-"

"You were upset. He was able to feed off you emotions. He had you in one of Error's worlds," Dream says, cutting him off. Ink's eyes are wide as he looks down at his hands. "Error is the only reason we were able to find you," Dream says, sighing. Looking at Dream, I sigh. He's upset, clearly. Error looks at me, then at Ink. He turns to leave, but Ink pulls him into a hug. Error's eyes are wide as he hugs back.

"Thank you," Ink says. Error nods and disappears.

"Jeez, just one problem after another. I really need to catch a break," I murmur.

"Yeah. And thank you, Dream, for taking care of Paint," Ink says, looking at me. Rolling my eyes, I cross my arms. Dream looks at me and smiles, nodding. Sighing, I lay back on the pillow, my eyes growing droopy. Ink manifests a sleeping bag and Dream crawls into the bed with me. My eyes drop close as I smile.

"Goodnight."
