Chapter Eight
They've put me in a room. I don't know how they're doing it, but they have mastered sounding and looking like real people. They give me three meals each day and the psychologist constantly reminds me that everything is normal, and there's nothing wrong out in the world. They've given me a computer now, so I am able to type this. I believe they are fooling me. How did I go from being a party animal to being trapped writing a book to being trapped by unknown, dark creatures?
They've managed to recreate Elizibeth perfectly. Mimicking her flaws and perfections, but I will not give in. I am right. These things are not human, and they cannot be trusted. I believe I am either the last person on the earth, or one of them. How can they put up this show so well? Maybe the real Ell and Logan are alive. This is it, though. I won't give into them. I am, and always will be, a heroine, I tell myself.
