"TOMI!" I shouted. He waited for me to get to him. "You doing okay?" He placed his arm around my shoulder. "Yea, but I need to ask you a question." "Sure what is it?" Just then someone called out to Tomi. "TOMI! WE ARE LATE FOR PRACTICE!" "I'm sorry, Seline. Maybe later?" "Urhm sure.." I muttered.
Tomi ran towards his teammates for football practice. Oh well, after all he was the captain. Anyways, I walked into class alone, and sat alone and listened to Mr Smith talking about Writer's Effects. Tomorrow. Tomorrow was going to be all about Bradley. I asked dad if I could skip school to visit Brad's grave but he kept quiet and just slowly walked away. So, I guessed it was a yes. I haven't talk to mum in a long time. I just don't know what to say to her. She messed not only once but twice, but I don't really want to talk about it. I knew she loved me, I knew but I just don't want to talk to her because I don't have the strength to forgive her, yet.
When class was over, Tomi still wasn't out from practice. How can I ask him then? Great. Maybe I should just go alone. I walked down the hallways with books in my hand then suddenly Savannah came out of nowhere and approached me. "This is payback for humiliating me in front of everyone." Then she cracked an egg on top of my head and left the hallway. I froze where she egged me and just didn't know what to do.
I heard someone running. "Seline? Are you okay?" Tomi asked. "I'm sorry but coach was talking to me back there, I'm sorry to keep you waiting." He noticed that I was egged and he looked for the eggshell to ensure that he was right. "Who did this?" His eyes were not soft anymore, but now he looked pissed. "Who did this, Seline?" This time he was really mad. "Savannah.." I answered. "Why the hell would s-- you know what, let's get you cleaned up. You can have my jacket if you want fresh clothes. It's in my bag, c'mon, let's go." He brought me to the toilet and washed the egg off. I went to the stall and took out my shirt and wore Tomi's jacket. "I'll give Savannah a piece of my mind when I see her, just wait," Tomi said it in an anger tone. "No, let her be. I was mean to her. I deserved this." "No, you don't. You don't deserve this, no one deserved to be egged in front of the whole school," Tomi looked at me while he folded his arms.
Should I ask him if he really want to come to the graveyard with me? I better not piss him off anymore. "Tomi, I'll wash your jacket immediately when I get home, I'll give it to you tomorrow." "Don't bother. Just take your time, okay?" He kissed my forehead. Tomi insisted of dropping me home, so I let him.
Bradley, don't worry. I'll come tomorrow. Promise.
