Okay so, whatever you do don't try to use a power that you just known how to control trying to dissolve a house full of Shadow Trackers, Why? Because this will happened.
Once Jason told me that the house was under attack, I threw the blankets off me and Jason sprinted down stairs. When I got down stairs, I saw Dallon, Perrie, Lauren, and Mrs. Russo were fighting and Jason went to join them. Jason's entire hand was swallowed by blue flames and started punching his way through a crowd of Shadow Trackers.
Lots of flashing lights came from their wands. I can tell we were going to win this fight until someone let out a scream that made my blood run cold. When I turn my head to see who it was, I saw Perrie howling in pain as she dropped her wand on the ground. A wave of darkness crowded around my brother to the point where I can't see his blue flames anymore, and Lauren, Mrs. Russo, and Dallon cornered.
I couldn't just stand there and watch them die. Perrie was already seriously injured and I don't want anything to happened to the Russo's after all the kind things they did, they gave us a place to stay when they didn't have to. I thought about what these things did to my grandmother and that's when a huge wave of anger came crashing down on me.
Something went through me like I was strucked by lightning or got electrocuted or something like that. When I looked down at my arms, my once pale blue veins were now florescent yellow.
The light shined through my hands and thrust them out to the remaining Shadow Trackers that were still left.
"Stand back," I said. While the Russo's got back to their feet and kept on fighting, the light shot through the air and hit the shadow trackers making them dissolve into thin air. The Russo's stopped fighting and Perrie wiped off the blood from her arm, and covered the gash with a piece of cloth.
"You really are Oliver de Lune's daughter." Lauren smiled.
"Thank you, CJ." Perrie said wincing as she applies pressure on her wounded arm.
"You're welcome."
"CJ I didn't know you could do that?" Jason asked.
"I didn't either."
"Those trackers are going to pay." Lauren growled.
"If wasn't for CJ, we would've lost a sister this morning." Dallon hissed.
"Then really need to leave," Jason said.
"Why?"
"It's not safe here. If CJ didn't did what she did, Perrie wouldn't have more than just a gash on her arm."
"He's right." I said. "We need to find the Shadow Palace, and we need to find it fast."
"In the woods." Dallon muttered.
"What?" Mrs. Russo asked.
"I said its in the woods. I've walked pasted it couple of times when I walk home from school." Dallon murmured.
"Which woods?" Perrie asked.
"The one behind the school, I can show it to you."
"No, it's too dangerous." Mrs. Russo protested.
"Mom he's the only one who can navigate the woods." Perrie said.
"Okay, be careful."
"What time, should we leave?" I asked.
"Now, would be a perfect time."
