So, Jason let me take over(finally) okay let me tell you what happened, well how it happened.

~Time skip to third period~

Okay, let's start with the beginning. The first two periods, I was fine. I was going over my presentation, until I felt ready. Once I walked into the class room, I was filled with confidence until Miss Collins called on me. Miss Collins is the nicest seventh grade teacher that I ever met. Her caramel brown hair was pinned back in a pony tail so that the class can see her vibrant blue hazel like eyes. That's when my confidence along side my ability to speak ran out the door.

"Miss Castro, I know you've worked really hard on this project." Yep, I wanted to run out the classroom screaming bloody murder and setting fire to my presentation. I nervously gathered my sheets of paper and shuffled my feet against the floor. I stood in front of the classes shuffling through my papers as quickly as I could trying to find the beginning. My god, I never been so nervous in my entire life.

"Start from the beginning." Miss. Collins smiled. I felt a big lump forming in the back of my throat, my hands started to get clamy, and my muscles started to tensence up. I took a shaky breathe. I tried to open my mout to speak but, no words were coming out. I clenched on to the paper like it was my life line.

"Uh....I...um..." Really? Come on brain make words! Say something anything but I and um.

"So...the...um..." As I clenched on to the paper tighter, the thought of me setting fire to my presitstion papers popped into my head. I don't know how or why, it just happened when all of the sudden smoke startes coming from the top part of my paper. Which, caused the entire paper to catch on fire. Because of this, the fire alarm went off and so did the sprinkler. Even though I was soaked and so was my report papers and everyone and everything in the classroom but, I sighed in relief.

"Okay class line up, single file line." As the class started lining up in front of the door, the room was filled with murmurs and whispers.

"Did you see that?"

"Her paper caught on fire."

"That was awesome, how did she do that?"

I slowly got in line and I felt like everyone has their eyes on me. I pulled my hood over my head, trying to blend in with the crowed hallway.

When my class stop at the corner of the hallway I saw my brother Jason. I nervously glanced at him without trying to look like I did something on purpose or that I was panicking.

What happened? Jason mouthed. I looked at him and shrugged.

After the whole fire indecent, I was send to the principal's office. Look, I didn't do it on purpose. You guys were there and you read what happened. Either way, I'm royally screwed.

~Time skip to the  Principal's Office~

Like I said before, I was sent to the principal's office. Lucky me right? Wrong. The school prinicpal was mean as a pit bull. His face looked like he sucked on a very sour lemon for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. He scowled as he saw me walk into the office. When I walked into the office my stomach fell down to my black high top Chuck Taylors. Aunt Jennifer and Aunt Sarah sat their in chairs in front of the principal's desk.

"Hi, Aunt Jennifer and Sarah." I said nonchalantly.

"Sit."

"Okay." I quickly sat down next to Sarah and Jennifer. As the Principal goes on about how matches are against school policy and I should be expelled but, there's no actual eye witnesses(thank god) and he's letting me off with a warning.

When we drove home in complete utter silence well until Sarah broke the silence.

"So C, how did the fire started?"

I can tell that she hesitated on the question. What was I supossed to tell her? Oh I used a match to set my paper on fire? No I don't even have a match or lighter, let alone know how my paper caught on fire.

"I don't know, I just thought about fire and then the paper started to smoke. Next thing you know the paper caught on fire." I explained.

I saw and Jennifer and Sarah looked at each other and Jennifer bit her lower lip. Something's up and I'm going to find out. After a few seconds I thought about what I have to say. And you want to know what I said? I said, "No it just happened, like magic or something." Sarah looked at her sister nervously. You see! I know you saw that. The morning sun shined brighter and the sky was now a darker sky blue.

~Time skip to the Upper West Side~

When we got home earlier than what grandma expected I went to my room. My room is different than my brother's. Last chapter my brother's room is dark. Not like black, okay there's some black but, his is like a lot of darker shade of blues and grays. Mine is bright yellow and orange like a sunset on a tropical beach. His has books, I have sketch books, he has a lap top, I have a skate board, and he has an iphone 6 plus, I have an iphone 6. I set my backpack down next to the TV stand and laid down on my bed.

Sitting at home waiting for Jason to come home for school is boring. Through out the entire day, I was in my room trying to figure out what to say to Sarah and Jennifer about acting strange . The other half of the day I was trying to figure out how the fire thing happened. The front door opened and I jump up, ran down the stairs, and grabbed Jason by his arm.

"CJ, what are you?" I didn't really answer him until I got to my room and shut the door.

"Sit." I said.

Jason sat down on my bed and looked at me like I did something illegal.

"What did you do?" Jason asked.

"Nothing," I said. "Why what did you heard?" I nervously laughed.

"That you started a fire." I sighed in frustration. I ran my fingers through my hair.

"That was an accident."

"Okay, why did you bring me to your room?" Jason asked. I explained to him about my little plan and how the fire started. He didn't really rebuttled like he usually do. He just sat there and listen, which was unlike him.

"I know," Jason said. "Earlier this morning I heard them arguing."

"Jace that's normal." I rolled my eyes.

"No I mean like, arguing about us having powers or something like that."

"Powers?" I asked.

Jason nodded. After a few minutes I explained to him about the plan. Little did we know we were up for a rude awakening.
