Ever since Laura was expelled last year, the rest of my ninth grade went smoothly. Jessie became the "Queen Bee" of Laura's clique, and Jessie tried so hard to get me back, but everything she did failed miserably, so she just stopped trying. My school is so stereo typical. Popular cliques, bullys, cheerleaders, losers, jocks, gothic freaks, etc... Through out ninth grade I continued to learn and find my place as far as "cliques" went. I figured maybe the independent group.

This summer also went alright. Zayn and I hung out at times, but I hung out with Levi more than anyone. We made out a few times, but to me it meant very little. He kissed me, I went along with it. Zayn doesn't know I've been hanging out with Levi. Would he get jealous? I don't think our feelings are the same about ever since the incident with Laura. Zayn stared dating this girl named Perrie. At first, jealousy flushed through me. I thought he was replacing me. Perrie is far more prettier than me. Her hair is blonde, medium length. Her face is so pure, delicate. She ruins it. By wearing pounds of make up. Her eyelashes are thick and long, you can tell she wears them fake.

Zayn also got his first tattoo over the summer. It's of a ying-yang on the side of his wrist. When he showed me, I was shocked. I didn't think he would ever do that. He told me Perrie encouraged him to get one. I don't understand why, because Perrie has no tattoos. As far as I know, anyway. The fact that he is dating her makes me a bit sad, I was hoping we would end up together. I guess fate decided I should be with Levi. It's obvious Levi likes me, and I know he's going to ask me out sooner or later. My feelings are some what mutual, though when we kiss it just doesn't feel right. When me and Zayn kissed, some beautiful feeling filled my stomach. It was magic. With Levi, I feel what you would naturally feel when you kiss someone. I'm not quite sure what that is, though.

I hear a knock on my door downstairs. Tomorrow is the first day of school, and Me, Macy, Perrie, Levi, and Zayn decided to go school shopping today. We are going to the mall, and Me, Perrie, and Macy are going clothes shopping and the boys are going to the guy stores. We all decided we needed new clothes.

I open the door. Macy and Levi stand infront of me.

"Where is Perrie and Zayn?" I ask, noticing the lack of Zayn and Perrie's appearence.

"They decided it would be better to go together, like on a date," she sighs. "So it's just gonna be us three."

"Wow..." I roll my eyes. I shut the door and say hello to Levi.

"You look pretty today." Levi smiles opening the car door for me.

"Thank you, you don't look half bad either." I laugh, getting into the passenger seat. Him saying that reminds me of Zayn telling me I look hot. Levi said it much more nicer, more polite. But Levi and Zayn are two different people, I need to stop comparing them. Levi kisses me on my cheek and gets into the back seat. Macy's eyes widen, as do mine. Does he think we are dating?

"Where are Perrie and Zayn shopping at?" I question.

"The same mall as us. We might bump into them." Macy answers, focused on the road.

"Levi are you shopping alone? I could go with you..." I offer.

"No, you need to buy your clothes. I will tag along and maybe find some clothes on the way."

"Okay." I answer.

We arrive at the mall, struggling to find a parking space. Once we do so, we head to the large glass doors. The mall is always crowded, but it was especially crowded today. High schoolers, middle schoolers, and even elementary kids roam around the varietys of stores, empty handed or over loaded with giant bags. Macy immediately walks over to Forever 21. Just as I expected. Macy walks in and me and Levi wait by the door.

"Carmen, aren't you coming in?" Macy says realizing I'm not following her.

"I don't shop here." I simply reply. Levi laughs, and I look at him. What's so funny?

"Okay. I will be quick." She frowns.

"Take your time. Levi and I will go look for clothes for him." I smile, Levi looked at me with a confused look, but agrees. Macy nods and rushes to the sweaters. It is almost 90 degrees in London, why is she getting sweaters? I ignore the thought and begin to walk with Levi.

"Where do you shop?" I ask Levi.

"I dunno," he shrugs. " I only go clothes shopping once a year. And I only stopped going with my mum in grade 7." He laughs.

"Okay, how about Tilly's? Or are you not the skater boy type?" I ask. Zayn shops there.

"Um, alright. Never been there, but worth a try." he says. I nod and we walk towards the giant Tilly's sign. I see Zayn and Perrie walk in, and grunt.

"What's the matter? You okay beautiful?" He asks. I nod. Did he not see them? He grabs my hand and I flinch, but I don't pull my hand away. I look to him, and smile at him. I don't even think he's going to ask me out, I feel like he thinks we are already dating.

"Are we dating?" I blurt out, and cover my mouth with my free hand.

"I guess we are now." He smiles, and he kisses my cheek at the entrance of Tilly's. I hear a gasp come from a girl close by. Guess who it is.
