josh rubbed his eyes, not believing what he was seeing. "t-tyler joseph..." he whispered. there was no way this was real. he quickly unlocked his phone to view the profile, double, even triple checking to make sure that this really was tyler joseph's Instagram. after he'd realized that no, this hadn't been a mistake, and no, this wasn't just some huge joke being played on him, he decided to look at the post.

what he found was a collage of some of his best art pieces he'd made for tyler, some recent, some old. 'so he's known about me for a while..?' josh thought, excitement rushing through his whole body. he scrolled down to the caption, which read:

i know seeing this may be a surprise to you, but if im being completely honest, your fanart is some of the best i've ever seen. i love your style and your ability is absolutely insane. it makes me happy to know that you're still such a dedicated fan (i remember seeing you years ago in the comments when i first began making videos). :) thank you for your dedication!

josh squealed with joy and immediately dialed his best friend, ashley. "ashley, you are NEVER going to believe this! tyler joseph noticed me on his instagram. ME! he said my art was, and i quote, 'some of the best he's ever seen'. can you believe it?"

ashley had never really understood all of the hype about tyler, but for the sake of her best friend, she decided to go along with it. "josh, that's great! i'm so happy for you."

josh grinned and laid on his bed. "he ended the caption with the words 'much love' , ashley. what do you think this means? should i comment? should i tweet him? or should i-"

ashley giggled and stopped him. "josh, take a breath! anything would be fine. personally, i'd dm him just so it's a little more personal. but whatever you want to do should be okay."

"whatever would i do without you?" josh replied. "thank you for letting me call you. i'll see you tomorrow at school, okay?" the two said their goodbyes and josh hung up the phone. he pulled up tyler's post once more and his already huge smile grew even bigger. what could he possibly say in response? he didn't think there were words to express how much this meant to him. he checked the time and realized that it was already 10:00 at night. josh decided that maybe it would be best to get some sleep tonight and send tyler a message in the morning. he shut off his phone and climbed into his navy blue bed, clicking off the light of the lamp beside his bed. josh fell asleep with a smile on his face and his head in the clouds.
