by the time sixth period had rolled around, josh had become pretty bummed. during lunch he'd sent his message to tyler and here he was, nearly three hours later, with no response. he was growing impatient.
'am i being obsessive?' josh worried. of course, tyler couldn't be on his phone all the time, but it still seemed strange to have no response yet. he tried his best to ignore his thoughts about tyler so he could focus on his work, but didn't have much success.
when the bell rang, josh jumped out from his seat and ran out to ashley's car, checking his phone once he reached it. he pulled up instagram and...
yes! tyler had messaged him back!
his heart began to race. he'd now been noticed twice by the one and only tyler joseph. he couldnt believe it.

he shook his head. 'dont be ridiculous,' he thought to himself. 'he doesn't even know you.' he took a deep breath and re-read the message. he heard ashley walking up so he clicked off his phone and put it in his pocket, waving to her.
