the two boys arrived at tyler's apartment a few minutes later. "here, let me show you the room you'll be staying in," tyler said, taking josh's duffel bag full of his belongings and leading him down a small hallway. he turned into the last door on the right. "i'm sorry it's so small. i hope it'll be okay for the week," he said, smiling at the boy. "my room is right across the hall. why don't you get settled in, and come get me once you're finished?" josh nodded in agreement as tyler left, shutting the door on his way out.

once the coast was clear, josh let out a small shriek of happiness. 'this is really happening,' he thought, still struggling to believe the reality of his situation. however, it had occurred to him that he probably should stop thinking of tyler as some untouchable internet celebrity and start thinking of him as just a regular person, like himself. after all, that's what he was.

...just some sweet, hilarious, and handsome regular person.

'pull it together, dun,' josh thought as he unpacked his things. it didn't take long for him to get settled; he hadn't packed very much stuff. once finished, he walked across the hall to tyler's bedroom and knocked on the door, which was partially cracked open.

"hey, tyler? i finished unpacking. is it okay if i come in..?" josh asked, walking in anyway without waiting for tyler's response, though what he saw made him wish he had.

'holy god damn,' josh thought. tyler was standing with his back to the door, almost completely naked except for his boxer shorts. josh felt his face flush a bright red as tyler turned around.

"i-i'm so sorry, i should have waited... outside..." josh said, his voice trailing off as he let his eyes wander. tyler laughed nervously as he noticed josh's eyes trail up and down his body.

"don't worry about it. would you mind waiting in the living room?" tyler said as he struggled to find something to cover up with. without a word, josh left and went to go sit on the couch. tyler joined him shortly after, dressed in a pair of black joggers and a white t-shirt.

"sorry you had to see that," tyler said, causing josh to look up from his phone. "i was just getting dressed. i should have had the door shut, my bad," he said, clearly embarrassed. "can i get you something to drink?" he asked.

"maybe just some water," josh replied. he couldn't get the image of tyler's body out of his head. he was just so perfect in every way. just thinking about it made josh blush again.

"are you okay?" tyler asked, noticing the pink in josh's cheeks. "is it too warm in here? i can turn down the heater," he said, reaching over the couch to turn down the dial.

"thanks," josh said, deciding to just go along with it. "would you excuse me for just one moment?" josh got up and snuck back into his room where he took out his phone and texted ashley.

josh: ash. red alert. i snuck away for spring break and i'm in tyler joseph's apartment. i am,,, not okay

ash: damn get some

josh: i walked in on him in his underwear.

ash: well then disregard my last message, looks like you're already working on it ;)

josh: you're the worst, you know that?

with that, he locked his phone and went back out to the living room, where tyler had moved next to josh's spot on the couch.

"hey! i pulled out some movies, if you'd like to watch any." he motioned to the stack of films he'd set up on the coffee table. "choose any movie, i don't mind. there's some popcorn in the microwave right now too, in case you wanted a snack." josh looked through the stack of movies as tyler got up to get the popcorn out of the microwave. eventually he decided on 50 first dates, one of his all time favorites. tyler returned to the living room and popped the movie into the dvd player.

"here, i also grabbed a blanket for you." tyler handed josh a fuzzy blue blanket and his own bowl of popcorn.

"thank you," he said, and got comfortable on the couch. the movie started playing as tyler shut off the lights in the living room and sat in his spot next to josh.

josh didn't make it through the whole movie. about halfway through, he fell asleep with his head against tylers shoulder.

when the movie finished, tyler looked down at josh, who was sleeping peacefully. tyler couldn't help but notice how cute josh looked with his face all squished up against his shoulder. he checked the time and since it was only about six, he decided to let josh sleep while he made dinner. carefully, he got up from his position on the couch, gently resting josh's head onto a pillow once he was up. he headed into the kitchen where he proceeded to cook dinner, making sure to check on the sleeping boy every once in a while. as he cooked he smiled to himself as he realized that day could not have gone any better.

sorry i was so slow to update, i've had a loT going on. but heres a semi-long chapter with some lowkey cutesy joshler so !!! enjoy.
