it had been about a week since tyler and josh had first talked, and each day they were getting more and more comfortable with each other. they'd even exchanged phone numbers to make their communication more simple. the two boys talked all day, every day and josh couldn't be happier. the more they talked, the more josh wanted, well... more.

josh wanted to meet tyler in person.

during one of their conversations, the two had discovered they lived only about an hour away from each other; and with josh's spring break coming up soon, he wondered if tyler was maybe feeling the same.

josh: hey tyler, text me when you can! there's smthn i want to talk to you about

he hit send, hoping tyler would text back soon. josh was filled to the brim with excitement just thinking about the possibility of meeting tyler and spending a week with him. he'd loved this boy for four years, and meeting him would be a dream come true.

josh heard the beep beep of his phone, signifying a text message.

tyler: sure, what's up? everything ok?

"everything's perfect," josh whispered to himself. he typed out his response to tyler.

josh: okay, well. here's the thing. next week i have spring break, and you and i have been talking quite a bit... i was wondering, if you're available, would you maybe want to spend some time together during that week?

josh hesitated before hitting send. tyler probably didn't feel the same way, and even if he did, he would probably be busy with his videos, or his friends, or something. besides, he was at least two years older than josh. he doubted tyler would want to be spending his free time with some dumb high schooler, especially some dumb high schooler who wouldn't turn eighteen for another month and a half.

josh sighed and hit send, despite his reluctance. whatever happened now would be completely up to tyler.

josh hated feeling so unsure of what was to come.

okay wow i'm so sorry i totally LIED in the previous chapted, updating two days later when i said i'd update that same day smh

yikes i know this was short but i'm struggling to come up w/ filler ideas until the good stuff starts happenin, ya feel? but i am trying my best so pls let me know what you think, any thoughts, constructive criticism and suggestions are more than welcome!!
