Chapter 18: Trying

Luna's POV

My phone vibrated signaling me to wake up. I told Chance yesternight to not yell to wake us up. I turned my alarm off and made sure Bryan is still sleeping. He's snoring peacefully, I tell you I think his snore is quieter than mine haha. I smiled and slip off of bed and slipped in my slippers and changed into a comfortable dress. I tip toed to my door and closed it gently. I sighed once I'm free to make noise. It's 6:30 by the way. Bryan's mom told me that it is not his usual wake up time. So I woke up ahead of him. I went to our kitchen and pulled out everything I need. I put the rice on the preheated pan with a bit of oil. I scattered the rice and cracked some eggs on a bowl and checked if there's any egg she'll that went with it. I shrugged as I found no egg shell floating around. I poured the egg in the rice and mixed it. I put a bit of salt in it then mix it again. I diced some ham and mixed it with the rice and egg. Once everything is cooked, I transferred the fried rice on a bowl and put another pan on the stove. I fried Bacon and eggs, hotogs and sausages. It's a lot, I cooked extra for the maids. I was in the middle of cooking when I felt someone behind me.

"Why are you up so early?" I asked and flipped the bacons.

"I smelled what's cooking." I giggled as he hug me from behind and let go quickly.

"Need help?" He asked and I shook my head as I crack eggs on another pan.

"No I'm fine." I seasoned the egg with a bit of salt.

"That's my independent woman." We laughed and face each other.

"Of course I'm an independent woman Bryan. I have to raise the family of my own, and that includes being independent. I mean, sa panahong ito, sinong babae and hindi marunong magluto kahit papritoprito lang diba?" I said and removed the Bacon from the pan and put the sausages next.

"Tama, maybe if I teach you how to drive, maybe teach me how to cook?" I smirked and looked at him.

"It's a deal Clifford." He grinned as I focus on cooking. Once the eggs are done I put the hotdogs next then I flip the sausages. He sat on the kitchen counter eating an apple. I looked at him curiously.

"What? Eating a fruit before or after breakfast is healthy. I can't pass an apple. They're like the best fruit in the world." He shrugged and continued biting on the apple.

"So apples are your favorite?" He nodded and bit on the apple again. Everything is cooked I transferred everything on plates then the maids help me set up the table and they also helped me on waking up the others.

"Bryan akala ko tulog ka pa." His dad said as they sat on the table.

"Dad, I want to change my sleeping habit. And I don't want Chance to wake me and Luna up every morning." He said and glared playfully at Chance.

"But I still woke up earlier than you." I teased as I put rice on my plate.

"You set your alarm earlier." He rolled his eyes and put rice on his plate. We started eating and started small conversations.

"Bryan, bakit mo inano si Luna?" Tita Vera asked him from across the table.

"Huh? Bakit ko sya inano?" He asked in confusion.

"Bakit mo inano si Luna?" She asked again.

"Mom I don't know what you are talking about." Bryan shook his head looking at his mom curiously.

"Oblivious. Why did you kissed Luna yesterday?" We blushed as soon as she mentioned 'kissed'.

"Uhm I uh I just uh I uh err I just wa- uhm oh gosh, I uh I kinda uh how can I say this? I just want to kiss her letting her know that I care so much for her." He said quickly.
