Chapter 38: Training and Relaxing

Keith's POV

"First some warm ups so we don't strain our muscles." I began stretching my arms.

"Why do we have to stretch?" She asked.

"Relaxing your muscles help a lot when releasing your power. It helps set the mood just right." I smirked.

"Helps set the mood just right? What does that mean?" Her confusion amuses me.

"You'll find out soon." I shrugged. I continued to warm up my body and she followed.

"Relaxing my muscles or is this just your trick to get me moving around and make my clothes lift up so you could take a peek?" Uhhhh -____-

"That is not true. I'm not a pervert." I shook my head.

"Alright, now that's done. Show me what you got." I have to observe her first so I'll know what and how to teach her.

"Show you what?"

"Seriously Luna your confusion amuses me." I chuckled at binatukan ako.

"You have to be more specific with me!" She tsked and crossed her arms.

"Okay okay, show me how you normally use your fire." She sighed and held her hands out and I looked closely.

"Wait I think we forgot something." She paused.

"What?" I asked.

"Sinong nagaalaga kay Thunder?" She asked.

"I handed him to Chance earlier this morning." I shrugged.

"Oh, I hope he's okay."

Meanwhile

"What does this dog want?!" Chance was running around being chased by Thunder.

"You need help?" Asked Melody.

"Isn't it obvious?!"

"I'm sure he's fine." She proceeded to release fire.

"I'll say some things you can create with fire and you'll try to make them okay?" She nodded.

"Fireball." I started with the easiest one. She made 5 without any difficulty. Though the fifth is a lot bigger than the rest.

"Uhm a fire whip." Then she glared at me.

"I CAN BARELY EVEN MAKE FIREBALLS WITH THE SAME SIZES AND YOU ASKED ME TO MAKE A WHIP?!" I sighed.

"Okay, first lesson, getting used to the heat of it on your palms. One thing I noticed, you use your ice a lot and your skin got used to the cold, so now you're going to use your fire until you got used to the heat." I explained.

"Just release a good amount of fire around your hands and that should be enough, and as the time goes by you'll increase the amount of fire you release." She did just that and covered her hands in fire.

"Yeah it definitely burns me in the way it shouldn't." She said in an emotionless tone.

"Fire users don't improve in a couple of hours but I believe in you. We have enough time for your hands to get used to that heat." I went closer to her.

"Let me help you." I released fire and held her hands.

"It's hot but it's weirdly comfortable." She gasped.

"See? You're already getting used to it." I smiled and increased the heat in both out hands.

"Getting hotter." She winced a bit but calmed down a second later.
