Chapter 24: The Great Wizard Of Aenai

Luna's POV

We neared the old creepy house. We stepped on the small staircase just before the front door and it creeked with every step we took.

"Are you sure somebody actually lives here?" Elissa asked with a shaky voice. I lifted my arm and knocked softly. I backed out the door but no one answered. I knocked a bit louder and stepped back again. I heard something crashed behind the door. The door opened slightly with a creek. I stepped back more until I felt hands holding my elbow from behind and pulling me safely in his arms, I looked up and Bryan smiled encouragingly. A hand crept up the door and I gripped Bryan's arms. I can shape up a hooded figure behind the slightly opened door.

"Who's there?" It said in an old, deep and hoarse voice, like it haven't talk for a long time.

"Uhm I'm P-princess Lunalaine of Mysticus, I'm with Prince Bryan of Pyr, Prince E-Eric of Aenai, and uhm our two friends, Elissa and Blast." Grabe bakit ako pa ang kailangan magsalita?

"Well why didn't you say so!? Come in come in young Majesties!" Woah I wasn't expecting that. I thought he might prank us like the Queen Of Aenai said.

"Uhm you're not gonna prank us or something?" I asked nervously and he laughed cheerfully.

"Oh certainly not! Why would I prank royalties!? I don't want to get in trouble! I'm old!" He exclaimed and it made us laugh.

"So what brings you here? And it's really an honor for you to cross Cloud Puff Forest just to see me." We cringed upon hearing the name of the bloody forest.

"All of them are afraid of that forest, good for you young people." He grabbed an apple and tossed it to Bryan who caught the apple in mid air.

"You're the Cold Prince aren't you?" He asked Bryan but Bryan shook his head.

"Not anymore sir, someone changed me, oh and thanks for the apple." Bryan said quickly and bit on the apple, I shook my head while grinning, he really loves apples. I mean, can't he hesitate a little before eating one? It might be poisoned you know? I don't want anything to happen to him like the cartoon princess in the Mortal World, what's her name again? Crow night? Storm freight? Uhm Store light? What else?

"It's Snow White, "Princess"." Ellisa really air quoted at me with a glare. And was I thinking out loud?

"Sino naman? At buti nakatagal sya sayo, when you we're still a young prince, you used to go around grinning like an idiot, but everything changed since the death of your beloved brother, you were so happy even if a lot of people doubted you, as long as you had your brother beside you, you act like the people around you don't hurt you, but when he died, you showed the people you aren't what they think you are." Bryan looked away and I know this conversation is making him uncomfortable.

"But he is a very fine man, I'm the one who changed him, he taught me a very valuable lesson, that I should never judge someone I didn't know had a bad childhood, and for them being mean because they have a reason behind it, and because of his damaged past, his love is deeper than any other." I smiled to him.

"I taught you that?" He asked and I nodded.

"I thought you will stay a jerk forever, but I never gave up on you, no matter how much you hurted me, I know there's still a bit of humanity left in you, I just helped you show it." I smiled and he grinned.

"And thank you for teaching me and making me feel that I'm still important, thank you for making me feel your care." He once again sealed his lips on mine. Gosh his kisses makes my tummy tingle. He pulled out with a slight pop. I actually can't help but freak out a little on the inside every time I would feel that soft, sweet lips of his.
