Chapter 20: Cold Again

Luna's POV

I woke up with no one beside me. I sat up and looked around for Bryan but saw nothing but furniture. I got ready for school and went down the dinning hall.

"Good morning mom, dad, tito, tita!" I greeted all of them, and expected Bryan would be next to my seat.

"Uhm where's Bryan?" I asked them and they all looked at each other them back to me.

"He didn't say anything?" I shook my head and they looked at each other again.

"Well he was in a rush this morning saying na meron pa syang kailangan tapusin sa CA." Tita Vera shrugged.

"He didn't say anything about it nor waking me up so I would go with him. Kailangan tapusing sa CA? Wala silang binibigay na project or work on Fridays to do it on Mondays, I'll just ask him later." I shrugged and ate my food. I walked towards the Academy like I used too. I went in the Academy and straight to my locker hoping to find Bryan there, and I did, he's with some fire users, new friends I guess. I ran up to them.

"Bryan why did you left so early?" I asked once I got to them.

"Tara na guys baka malate pa tayo." He snobbed me, they walked away and I starred at their backs with my mouth hanging open. Is he being cold again? After all we did yesterday? I'll see him in class I guess. I shook my head and grabbed my book and pen. I walked towards the back of the school and walked in the forest. Right now I wish na meron akong teleporting powers, ayaw ko talagang lumipad, nakakatamad. Pero no choice, I sighed and flew above the trees. I held my pen and book tighter as I floated above trees. I flew to the clearing and landed, I found Ethan quickly and ran up to him.
"Ethan!" I hugged him then let go a second after.

"Hey baby, napansin ko lang hindi kayo sabay pumasok ni Bryan." He brought up the issue and I sighed.

"Yeah, he woke up earlier and didn't tell me why, then when I got here I asked him why'd he left so early and he snobbed me, like he's being cold again after all we did yesterday." I bit my bottom lip.

"Tsk pabayaan mo na lang, mood swing lang yun." He shrugged and the teacher started lecturing about Garden Pixies.

"Garden Pixies often work at night. They go to your garden to either fix it or ruin it, or build their home in it. They can grow or rotten flowers, fruits, even trees if they wish. They choose whose garden to ruin or help it grow, the undesirable or the desirable. A gardeners wish is for a Garden Pixie to go to their garden and help it nourish one's crops. They can be a bit stubborn at times or very very useful. They don't like being messed around with. They tend to celebrate when they finally finished their job, they can sleep for about 2-3 days without waking up." The teacher paused as a student raised his hand.

"They should drink caffeine more often." The whole class laughed at his statement.

"Oh but they are allergic to caffeine-nated products. They can lose their minds or even die." Woah that's rough. I do love a coffee crumble ice cream. I looked at where Bryan is sitting and he's too focused on writing on his notebook. I don't know but I somehow feel a bit worried about why he's acting like this again.

"Kakausapin ko sya mamaya." Ethan said, he must've noticed I'm staring at Bryan.

"Thanks." Bryan wouldn't probably listen to me so I'll let Ethan talk to him.

"Basta wag lang kayong magbugbugan ah." I warned him.

"We'll try." He smirked and I slapped his arm. The teacher dismissed the class for some emergency call. We all went inside Charm Academy again. I pulled out my phone and texted Destiny.
