*Gianna's pov

*3 months later (April)

"Gianna?" I hear as I bring the phone to my ear. "Hello?" I said with a scratchy voice. "Ooh, you sound terrible" he said concerned. "Thanks Adam, what's up?" I asked. "Uh you're not here" he said and I knew he shrugged. "Are you okay you've seemed off lately" he said and I could hear his pout. Working for Adam has been amazing, we've gotten really close, hanging out every night and on the rare lunch break. It was always the same, but it was perfect, I was comfortable with him. The ghost thing didn't effect anything. Hmm Keith, he hasn't been around lately, I thought. "Oh god I'm so sorry Adam I'll be right there" I said hanging up and jumping out of bed and held my head a second. I rushed to dress and jumped in the new car Adam helped me buy, helped by making sure I got a good deal. He complained about my simple choice but I loved my car, it was perfect, just what I needed. I parked at the studio in record time and ran in coughing and holding my head. I sat for a second before Adam noticed me. "Ow" I mouthed, my head and throat were killing me. "Gianna Williams, I know you are not behind that desk" he said, not angrily but worried. I coughed, "of course I am Adam" I said looking up at him. "Go home Gianna, you need to rest and get better, I handled the phone before you I can do it now" he said. I shook my head, "I'm fine, I'm just gonna make some tea and I'll be fine" I said getting up to head to the office. "Sit I'll do it" he said and I did as he said. He was the best boss in the world. I had finally told him last week I was staying. It was a shock for everyone, Danny was hoping I'd be back soon and my parents were concerned about me being out here alone, but they figured it was what I needed, and being out here was my fresh start, no one knew me, I had no past here.

Adam came back with a hot cup of tea. I tried to smell it and open my stuffed nose but failed and sipped it slowly. After a couple of sips I started scratching. "Adam?" I coughed out. He was sitting on the couch in the lobby looking over a couple of papers. "Yea?" He asked staring. "What kind of tea is this?" I asked scratching roughly at my neck and face, "chamomile, why?" He asked. My eyes bugged out and I reached for my bag, "Adam!" I tried to scream but it was useless. He rushed over after seeing my face, "what happened?" He asked. "E..e...epipen" I choked out. He took my bag and rummaged through it and found my epipen and stared scared. I motioned to pull the cap and he did as I instructed. I pointed to my thigh too weak to do it myself. He bit his lip and jammed it in hard, I held his hand and counted in my head. "911" I whispered and he was already on it. "I need an ambulance!" He shouted panicked. Before I knew it was laying in the back of the ambulance and Adam looked scared out of his mind as he ran to his car. The ride felt long and full of beeps from monitors and EMTs talking about me.

My eyes opened slowly, god what did they give me? Whatever it was made me pass out. I tried to move but I was too tired and couldn't. "Adam?" I asked seeing him sitting with his head in his hands. "Gianna" he said and he still looked scared. "I am so sorry, I had no idea" he rambled. "Adam it's okay, I never said anything when you went to make me tea, how were you supposed to know?" I said. "I should've asked if you liked it, I'm so stupid" he said moving his chair closer. I rolled my eyes, "how long have I been out?" I asked. "About 5 hours" he said looking at the clock. "And you've been here the whole time?" He nodded and took my hand, "I've been a wreck, I called Rozzi to come lock up for the day and to grab your bag. She says to get better soon cause she wants to hang out" he chuckled. I smiled, "well you're going on tour soon, it'll a have to wait" I said. "About that, I feel horrible about this and I want to make it up to you, how about you come on tour for a little while?" He asked.
