Before I explain...
DISCLAIMER! I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE AVENGERS!!! MARVEL AND THE AMAZING STAN LEE DO!!!
Okay, that over with and cap locks off. I'm going to try and write an Avengers/Loki Fan fiction. I'll try and put a song that has something to do with the chapter if I can think of one. I really wanted to make a Loki love (?) story. I put that question mark there because I don't know if that is the word I want to use. I hope that you all, whoever you are or if there is anyone reading this, enjoy this story. I hope it works out as much as I want it to.
So, as I am listening to the Bring Me the Horizon album 'Sempiternal' (By the way folks, it is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!), the song for this chapter is 'Can You Hear My Heart'.
So, I am happy to introduce my story:
The Villain From My Daydreams
Chapter One: Childhood stories.
I remember the stories my mother and father would tell me. Stories of magical beings from other realms, missions, battles, the story of when they met. But My favourites were the ones of the battle in New York, with a magical being. A man not of this world nor this realm. A man with glorious purpose. I remember being tucked into bed and asking my daddy to tell me a story. He would look down at me with deep blue eyes full of happiness. He would paint amazing pictures with his words describing every detail. But now I'm all grown up. The only times I would hear their stories, the adventures of Black Widow and Hawkeye, if we were lounging on the couch in Stark Tower. And of course, I had to ask. Stark Tower had been renovated for an Avengers Base. We all had our bedrooms, there were laboratories, rooms galore!
I sat in my living quarters, guitar in hand. I just wanted to be alone. I thought of all the stories I had been told. Mostly of the ones of the brother of Thor. I didn't know what drew me to these stories the most. Was it because of the brutal violence? Or the power hungry Frost Giant?
There was a heavy knock on the heavy steel door that contained my room. I set down my guitar and stood up from my bed. The dark comforters were strewn on the bed in a black rough wave. I looked in the mirror; my usually bouncing curls were frizzy and my t-shirt seemed to be back to front. I opened the thick door to see Thor's towering figure. Me and Thor got a long really well. And to be honest I got along with most of the Avengers. All but Steve Rogers, A.K.A Captain America, we had our... disagreements.
"Wazzup?" I smirked, letting the Asguardian into my room. See, I was just a normal kid of eighteen from the big apple - apart from the fact my parents were master assassins and I knew the Avengers... personality. I had no powers or abilities or a suit. I was just plain old Cecilia.
"Cyanide," Thor started. Yes, that's right the Avengers called me Cyanide. I can't quite remember why and how it started but there we go. "I'm bored."
"Y'know the definition of boredom?" I sat on my bed, patting the spot next to me.
"No?" He sat down beside me, picking up one of my stuffed bears. It was a grey bear with a little green ribbon that I got from an old high school friend.
"Being on Earth!" I laughed, gaining a smile from Thor. I snatched the little grey bear off of him, holding it close to my chest.
And Just like that Stark flew into the room, his face red and his chest rising and falling rapidly. Thor stood up to attention, casting a large shadow over me. Tony was wearing his usual dark jeans and classic rock t-shirt - today was Van Halen.
"Fury is super mad. Avengers are now assembling." Tony rushed. Thor turned and gave me an apologetic look and ran after Stark.
I hated that. I walked down the corridors to find Pepper. The only one I could guarantee being here, alone with me. I hated that mid-conversation we could get interrupted by one of them and they would go rushing off. That's when I turned to see Bruce still working in his lab. I slid open the door and jumped onto an empty work table. He turned around and smiled limply at me. His mud brown hair looked messier than usual. He was wearing a plain grey t-shirt and blue shirt with a pair of grey slacks. My heart was thudding against my rib cage. I always had a soft spot for Bruce. He gave me the dreaded stomach butterflies.
"Hey," I squeaked. I tried to smooth my hair down but it didn't work.
"Is your t-shirt back to front?" He asked promptly. I blushed and slid off the table and walked towards him.
"Yeh... Anyway, how come you ain't... assembling?" I tried. It almost sounded like I didn't really know what I was saying due to my nervous stutter.
"Nah, they got me here running tests. Looking for gamma radiation." He mumbled, staring at a screen.
"Gamma radiation? How come?" I was genuinely interested. I looked at the screen. It had all sorts charts and percentages.
"From tesseract energy. Loki is back." He said, his eyes flitting around the room.
Loki. The name rung through my head. Loki the brother of Thor. Loki the Frost Giant. Loki. Bruce looked at me confused. But continued in his work. Pepper came into the room passing a phone to Bruce, saying it was Tony. She walked out, giving me that 'follow me' look. I looked back at Bruce. I didn't want to leave him. We walked through the corridors into the Stark's living room. The walls were either glass or exposed brick. A pale cream carpet on the floor by the black leather couches and a dark wood floor by the bar. A scotch only bar. She sat down the couch, smoothing out her little cream skirt.
"How's the mission to flirt with Banner?" She asked smoothly with a grin plastered on her face.
"Urgh!" I grumbled. "I don't think he will ever ask me out."
She shrugged. And I leaned back into the cool leather. Then it popped into my head... this couch used to be a cow. I shook my head and regained focus on Bruce. His curly hair and drab style. I wanted to give up. Ever since Betty, Bruce basically wrote off the idea of falling in love again. That basically left no chances for me. Pepper ran her hands through her poker straight ginger hair. She looked deep in thought. Suddenly Iron Man came zooming into the room. I sighed. There went my little crushing time about Bruce.
"That jerk, Loki." He mumbled, taking off the suit. "Got away."
I looked at Pepper, with pleading eyes. She nodded and whispered 'Go get him' in my ear. I stood up promptly and nodded at Tony, who was now glugging down a glass of scotch. I ran down the corridors towards Bruce's lab. I pushed through the door.
"Bruce, I need to t-" My eyes met with Captain America's. "Talk."
"Yeh, sure, what's up?" He replied willingly. My eyes never left Steve's. Anger rushing through my body. All I could think was 'get out or I will hulk out'. Steve seemed to get the message and stormed out. I turned back to Bruce, my heart thudding in my throat.
"I... er... Was wondering..." Bruce looked up from his computer. "If... um... My word this is difficult. I was wondering if you would like to..."
"Yes," Bruce whispered, looking me in the eyes.
It was like what I wanted to say was written all over my face. I was sweating and shaking. He moved closer to me, until our feet were touching. The heart monitor on his wrist was racing. He leaned down. I was unusually short for my age, only being 4"7. His forehead touched mine, our noses brushed, and our lips finally met. Everything felt right, the way our lips moved together and the way he held me. Thank goodness for that because I felt so weak at the knees I could have fell. Then suddenly everything went wrong. His heart rate went to far. He cried out until that cry turned into a roar and knocked me out.
