Black Veil Brides - "Lost It All"

Chapter Thirteen - My Help?

"There!" Bruce pointed at a red dot on the map. "There it is."

I stood up straighter and nodded. "I'll call mum and we will set off for it." I looked up at the clock on the wall. Two thirty am.  "And we have an hour and a half to do this." I clicked on my ear piece. "Black Widow, do you copy?"

"I copy, what's up?"

"We found where the message was sent from. We're going in. How's the view?"

"Nothing yet. Bear in mind we still have at least an hour. Nothing back from Thor?"

"No. Nothing yet. Cyanide over and out."

I nodded at Bruce and we grabbed our equipment and went out. I kept my eyes on the map on the PDA in my hand. We were getting closer to the little red dot. We were both in disguise, in the hope that no one would recognize us. I had a large pair of glasses perched on my nose and a short grey dress on with an over sized hoody and a long blonde wig. Bruce had a biker jacket on and a bandana with skulls on it on his head. I pretended to text on the PDA as we followed the map. We ended up in a dimly lit alleyway. A door was at the very end with a pin lock. Bruce rummaged in the bag for two pads with wire attached. He plugged it into the PDA and started to type. Suddenly the door pinged open.

"That took less time than expected," Bruce mumbled as we walked in. I rolled my eyes and observed my surroundings.

It was nothing but a huge empty warehouse; concrete walls and floors with a few pillars. I clicked on the side of my specs that sent a radio wave into the room, much like a submarine. It showed me that on the other side of the far wall was another room, that wasn't another empty warehouse. Something else started to ding on the PDA.

"Your joking," Bruce whispered.

"What?" I whispered back.

"Gamma radiation. Low gamma radition." He mumbled, pressing buttons on the PDA. "Oh no,"

"What?" I asked again.

"It's coming from behind us," We both turned around.

"Well, hello there," It was the man in the suit. Rather, a ripped suit. His skin was as black as coal and his eyes were haunting. "Lost are we? I sure hope so..."

"Um... yes, my brother and I took a wrong turn?" I tried, pushing the glasses up my nose.

"A wrong turn? Into a locked warehouse?" He questioned, putting a rather huge gun on his hip. He leaned in close to my ear. "Do you really think I'm that dumb?"

"No," I put my hand on the gun that was strapped on a gold belt around my waist. "But I could just hope." I whipped out the gun and put it around his bald head. He just laughed. "Where is Fury and what do you want?"

"You think thats a gun?" He mocked me, he clicked his fingers and Fury came out of the shadows carrying a tesseract powered machine gun about the length of himself. "That's a gun, and it pointing at you, sweetheart."

I looked Fury straight in the eye. He was blank. His eyes were lifeless and just pure black. "Nick? Put down the gun," I whispered. He just shook his head slowly, much like a robot. I flinched at his stare. Fury usually had a cold stare, but this one was frozen. And it sent shivers down my spine.

"Cyanide? Come in Cyanide?" I heard Steve shout in my ear.

"Ignore that," The black man told me. "And put your gun down." I threw my gun to the ground. "Good. Now follow." We both turned around and followed at a distance, with Fury a little behind us.

"Steve," I whispered, almost silently. "Me and Bruce have been compromised."

Steve's P.O.V

Her statement sent shivers down my spine. But I had another problem on my hands. I had left my post to go to the bathroom, and when I came back Cecelia was gone. I groaned and went off searching for her, through all the halls. She was no where to be seen. That's when I saw a familiar face at the end of one of the hallways. Her soft brown hair flowed in waves just above her shoulder. Her skin was flawless and porcelain. She was a fitted dark green skirt suit with a cream blouse. And her eyes... sparkling eyes that pierced my soul.

"Peggy?" I breathed. I was shaking. There was no way this was Peggy. My mind was playing games. It had to be.

"It's good to see you, boy scout," She smirked. Her voice was as smooth as English tea. I moved closer to her taking in every detail. Her straight back that showed her military background. It was Peggy but it couldn't have been. "You look scared." She observed, squinting her eyes at me.

"Who are you?" I said firmly, straightening my back and hardening my jaw.

"Don't get tense with me Rogers, I am Peggy Carter. Did you get brain freeze when you were in the ice or something?" A smile spread fully on her plump red lips. I rolled my eyes.

"You're supposed to be dead. Get out of my head." I commanded. She moved closer to me, until our feet were touching.

"Prove it Captain America," She challenged. I sighed, breathing in the scent of old perfume and dust. She leaned in and just as we were about to kiss, there was a flash of green light. I jumped back to see Loki grinning at me.

"What... Why? Where is Thor?" I shouted in blinding rage.

"Ha! He is just on his way Rogers, don't you worry your prett. Oh, how that was fun. But to business," He grinned. "But I have been told the Avenger's need my help."
