Bring Me The Horizon - "Go To Hell For Heavens Sake"

Chapter Eleven - New Girl On The Block

I woke up with a thumping headache. My whole body ached. I looked to where Bruce was lying that night but he wasn't there. I raised myself out of bed. My arm felt heavy. I sure wasn't going to get used to this quickly. I got myself dressed into dark jeans and a Star Wars t-shirt and went down into the kitchen. Tony was standing there, in jeans and a shirt, holding a juice box in his hand.

"Cyanide! How are you feeling?" He cheered. His words sent pangs in my forehead. It was like having a really bad hang over.

"Shhh," I told Tony, putting a metal finger to my lips. He just grinned and continued slurping his juice. He was rummaging through the cupboards for some sort of breakfast.

"So..." He interrupted the silence with a cocky grin. "Pepper found a kid yesterday. All beaten up and stuff. Took her in. Think she maybe got caught up in the alien attack."

I raised my eyebrow. "Does Fury know?" I knew for a fact that Fury wouldn't be happy in unknown personnel where in any S.H.I.E.L.D building. It would blow his eye patch off. Getting clearance from Fury was difficult. Even I had to go through various tests and questionings and I was the child of two of his agents.

"Yes. He wasn't well pleased. Took the girl into questioning." Tony informed me. I nodded. She must of either been clean or a very good liar to get passed Fury.

A pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I just fell back into his chest. Bruce kissed my forehead. He let go and went over to the fridge, grabbing the milk and pouring himself a glass. He was wearing a t-shirt and a plaid shirt with a pair of dark jeans. I sat up on the marble counter (Tony doesn't really know what a simple life is). Steve came in too, wearing jeans and no shirt much to my disgust, and sat down on one of the bar stools.

"Who's this girl I see around?" He asked, running his hand through his blonde hair.

"Pepper's new rescue pup," I murmur, causing Bruce to snigger. Tony just rolled his eyes and started plastering jam across a very stale looking slice of bread.

And speak of the Devil, she walked in. Her hair was blonde and fell poker straight to her hips. Her skin was pale and she was skinny. Deadly skinny. She wore a pair of Peppers light denim shorts and a S.H.I.E.L.D hoody. When her caramel eyes met with mine, she smirked. She made me feel uneasy, unsure. But I smiled back none-the-less. She looked like the typical girl I wouldn't get along with at school. One bat of her long eyelashes and she would get what she wanted. She didn't have one bruise on her body despite what Tony had said.

"Hey," She whispered in the still and silent kitchen. "I'm Cecelia."

I raised my eyebrows and Bruce shot a glance in my direction. "Really? You're named Cecelia?" I growled. No way did she have my name. Anger ripped through me. Tony's eyes widened.

"Yes. I am. Got a problem?" She smirked.

"Oh my gosh, yes! Girl fight!" Tony yelled.

I glared at Tony and walked out. I wasn't in the mood for this. I don't know what was wrong with Fury but this girl wasn't clean. I could feel it. I stormed along the corridors and went into the meeting room and called Fury. It rang through for a few minutes and then a hologram came through and Fury stood in front of me. He was in his usual black head-to-toe outfit, I don't think I had seen him in anything else.

"What can I help you with Agent Cyanide?" He asked, his voice deep and smooth.

"How did this girl get clearance?" I about yelled and Fury rolled his eye at me.

"She is clean. Any black data that would come out from her, if any, would be getting blood from a stone." He reassured me.

"I do not feel safe with her here!" I replied, my eyes burning with anger. Fury went to say something but the hologram went fuzzy and his voice was breaking up. Soon enough he cut out.

I folded my arms across my stomach. I grinded my teeth in anger. I would have to take this into my own hands. I turned around to find Tony, his arms were across his chest too.

"Count me in." He said firmly. I smirked. I wasn't too alone in this game then.

Fury's P.O.V

I turned back around from the screen, turning to the man who was standing behind me with a gun pointed to my head.

"Happy now?" I taunted, clenching my fists.

"Did she believe you?" He asked. Walking into the light more. I nodded firmly.

His skin was ink black and his eyes where all white. He wore a suit that was ripped all over. Hardly a haunting costume. His white hair fell over his shoulders. The gun in his hand glowed with energy. Something more powerful than tesseract energy. His only three fingers curled around the trigger.

"What do you want from me?" I boomed, moving closer to the man. He smiled, bearing rows of shark-like teeth in his mouth.

"My name in the scars of frightened children. The Avengers at my feet. Your head on my wall as a trophy and your blood in my goblet. And maybe," He smirked. "Maybe that coat. You have been warned Nick. I will kill you."

I didn't despute the fact that he could kill me. But I had survived worse than some weirdo in a torn suit. I shrugged off my coat and passed it to him, smiling myself. He raised a white eye brow at me.

"You've been warned too, Revelation. We don't go down easily." I warned him, walking away.

"No no no, Nick, I'm not letting you leave." Revelation laughed. He brought the gun to the back of my skull and rested the barrol on my skin. I took a deep, calm breath in.

I turned around letting his rest the gun between my eyebrows. "Go on. I dare you,"
