Chapter Five - Locked Up
---Thor's P.O.V---
There was no reasoning with Loki. He was beyond reason. I just stood there, facing him and his bizarre gold helmet. My arms crossed in front of my chest. I came here to save a dear friend, not to battle like Bilgesnipe. The smirk on his face was victorious. His skin was in it's Asguardian form. No long blue with ridges, but pale and smooth. His green eyes sparkled.
"Loki, you are ridiculous." I spoke for probably the fifth time. He stood up from his throne of ice and walked past me; a grin still plastered on his pale face. He caused a cold breeze to run down my spine as he walked past me. I closed my eyes and hung my head in defeat. To get to my friends, I had to take on Loki. I turned around, swinging my hammer in his direction; hitting his back. "You are truly a the worst, Loki. Let them go"
Loki started to laugh, almost as though he enjoyed the pain. "Oh, how I wish I could," The sarcasm in his voice was heavy. "But by Odin's law I am in wedlock with the child. And I like seeing the mighty Avengers in bars. So... No."
I could feel the anger building up as I swung the hammer again. It almost hit him but he teleported, using his magic.
"Father will provide a divorce!" I growled. "I cannot let you use her."
"Why not? Do I see love in my brothers eyes?" He mocked; mocking me for calling him my brother; mocking me for loving a mortal who was almost as family. I rose my hammer to the sky calling for the lightning.
"She is a dear friend! As are the Avengers! And I will not leave until I have them by my side, on our way back to Midguard." I counteracted, spitting my words. I gripped the hammer firmer, ready to fight my Frost Giant brother.
---Cecilia's P.O.V---
My eyes felt dry and heavy even after about an hours sleep. I was grateful that the sleep came over me but it didn't last long at all. My body was aching and sore, my hands and lips were dry. I was uncomfortable to say the least. I was cold and stiff. I felt guilty. I got my friends in this predicament. I didn't fight back enough. And now I was married to a villain; a Frost Giant.
"Are you okay?" I heard a feminine voice. I turned to the cell beside me. My mothers eyes held bags under them, and her usually bouncy hair was ratty and frizzy. I shrugged silently. I wasn't okay, far from it.
I looked over to Bruce's cell. He still hadn't awoken. Goose bumps covered his bare flesh, making me want to crawl over to him and hold him to keep him warm. I looked down. My skin was still blue. It made my heart sink; looking like the enemy. I pushed my arm between the bars and managed to touch Bruce's shoulder, just and no more. His skin was cold, a feeling that was unusual. Bruce was always warm. His eyes flitted open reluctantly and he shifted. His eyes moved around the room and then set on me.
"Cece?" He whispered, his voice hoarse and tired.
"Bruce," I could feel myself being chocked by tears. He shifted again and then rearranged the remnants of the fabric of his slacks so it was covering from his waist to his knees. He pushed his arm through the blue bars and I pushed mine out too. Our hands met and our fingers laced together.
"We'll figure this out. I'm sure." Bruce tried to put a brave face on.
Loki came bursting into the room, cuts and scrapes all over his face. He glared at Bruce's and I's joined hands. He kicked our hands causing both me and Bruce to cry out in pain. He reached into my cage grabbing my chin, jerking me closer to him
"Now Cecilia, I am your husband, not the freak." He murmured in my ear.
"He's not a freak. You are," I spat, twisting away from him. Loki stood up, his jaw set and his chest puffed. He then put his hand towards the ice on the floor, moving Bruce's cage. "What are you doing with him?!" I screamed, grabbing the bars. Loki came back to me, laughing. He put his hands on the bars, crouching down beside me. He blew on my hands and my blue skin became encased in solid ice.
"Do be good now, girl. Don't want to hurt you," He smirked, weaving his hands through my hair. He stood back up and continued moving Bruce's cell. I wanted to kill him. Never had I had so much hatred in my heart, not even as much as Steve.
"I'm sorry," Steve spoke up.
"Hm?" I turned to him, and stopped trying to move my hands.
"I'm sorry Cecilia," He repeated. I smiled. "I'm sorry for everything. I was a jerk."
"Now your admitting that?" I laughed. Steve shook his head.
"I shouldn't have... um... hit on you," He admitted. Hitting on me was an understatement. The jerk put his hand on my thigh and tried to kiss me. And I was only sixteen at the time. Ever since then we were always argueing. I nodded and gave him a weak smile before rattling my hands around in the ice. One of my hands smashed out of the freezing bonds. My dad looked up from the ground and moved his eyes along the ice.
"Nat, you got that knife in your boot?" He called over to my mother, who smirked, grabbed the knife out her boot and started sawing at the ice bars. Hope was in view again. But where was Bruce?

Hey, hope this is okay :) x
