I thought that an appropriate song for this chapter would be Halestorm's 'It's Not You'.
I would like to say thank you so much for all the comments and support. I understand y'all hoping that Loki will get the girl. But I hope you love this anyway. I'm really enjoying writing how villainous Loki can be, it's making me super happy. As well as writing about Cecilia and Bruce. But I'm just going to see how the story pans out. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of this and continue with your support. Love the comments and the occasional votes :)
So a wee bit before the chapter. I just was thinking aqnd this is probs like ***SPOILER ALERT*** but it's for this chapter anyway, so should be okay. I'm making Laufy (Loki's dad) a good guy. Just to push my story along a little. And I think this good Frost Giant face that Laufy will have will only really matter in this chapter. I wasn't sure if I should have made Odin help with the rescue (Which probs wont happen in this chapter) but... I'm just gonna see :P
Chapter Four - You Will
I looked at my reflection in the glass. My skin was blue, my eyes were as red as my hair. My curls were tied back in pearls. I had a floor length green dress on, with pearl and gold thread detailing. I never thought my day would come, you know, except the week notice Loki gave me. I wanted to run away, yet, my feet stayed frozen on the ground... Literally. The gold strappy sandals were glued to the floor, encased in clear as glass ice. I didn't want to go through with this. All I could think about was Bruce. He would never forgive me. I tried a very pathetic coded message, but I doubt he found it. He'll blame me.
"Come on," A booming voice interrupted my thoughts. The ice seemed to flow like water at his command, turning me around. I faced Laufy with dead set eyes. He nodded, for some reason looking sorry for me. "I know." He simply said. I shook my head. He didn't understand. He would never know how this felt.
The ice moved me towards frosted doors. They were large and blue, like the most of this forsaken land. Laufy looked down at me; not in a way that made me feel like the puny mortal I was, like most of the Frost Giants did, but in a way that was open.
"I do know how you feel, Celilia." His voice rumbled. "I fell in love with an Asguardian. She was beautiful. Hair as black as the night sky, her eyes like stars themselves. She loved me despite my size, my colour, my race. My father wasn't happy to say the least. We would sneak to the Bifrost. That's when she fell pregnant with Loki. Father was furious. He locked her up. I was forced into marriage to a Frost Giant woman I didn't even know. She died giving birth to Loki."
I stood in shock. I had never heard of this. The doors opened with a gust of wintery air. The wind that surrounded me as I 'walked' down the aisle sounded like an orchestra. Tears unwillingly tumbled down my face. There was no doubt about it, the man at the end of the aisle was good-looking but he wasn't the man I loved and to add to that... He was pure evil. He just smirked as I got closer. The tears poured down my face as I hung my head low. If karma existed, it was taking things way too far.
"Will you, Loki Laufyson, take Celilia Barton as your wife?" Laufy asked formally.
"I will." Loki smirked, his hands squeezing mine uncomfortably.
"Will you, Celilia Barton, take Loki Laufyson as your husband?"
I froze. I thought I had finished crying, but a lone tear dripped down my face. Loki squeezed my hands more forcefully. I shook my head and Loki's jaw set and his smirk dropped. I could tell I was in trouble. I looked around in hope that the Avengers would show up and save me.
"You will." Loki growled. Shivered ran down my spine. My eyes started to fill up again.
"Then I know pronounce you-"
"Not so fast blue butt," A cocky voice echoed into the icy room. I turned around to see a red and gold suit. I couldn't help but smile. Mum and Dad were here in their kicking butts pose. Thor was there, his hands on his hips, his cape flapping in the wind. I even smiled when I saw Steve jumping into view. Then that's when I heard the roar. My heart was thudding. That's when the hulk stormed into view.
Loki growled inaudibly. "I will now kiss the bride." He commanded, then smashed his lips into mine. I felt nothing but the cold. He pulled away and threw me back, my arms being caught by two frost giants retraining me. "Get them" Loki yelled pointing to my family, friends and love.
"NO!" I screamed, kicking and struggling against the men. I was dragged away, thrown into a small iced cell. I grabbed the cold blue bars, shaking them... but it was shaking me more. "LET ME OUT!" I screamed. I slumped back into the corner, holding my arms around myself for comfort and heat. Tears poured down my cheeks. I gave up. My body was trembling and numb; my head fuzzy and empty. Empty of life; hope; ideas for escape.
The heavy sounds of draggled objects filled the room. Three Frost Giants dragged five bodies in front of me, and slammed them into separate cages. I looked around me. Red curly hair limped over the face of the woman in the cage next to me. The man next to me, who once had eyes filled of happiness and challenge looked exhausted and defeated. A man in a battered red and gold suit removed his helmet and threw it to the other side of the cage. Blonde hair that belong to the first super hero was covered in sweat. One guy seemed to be missing his clothes, all but the rags covering his bottom half.
"They... They are huge," Steve huffed.
"Bruce?" I whispered. But he didn't reply.
