Part 24 - "Penny For Your Thoughts"

Aliyahs POV:

We sat in the limo, my head gently placed against Leo's shoulder, his arms securely wrapped around my waist, pulling me close against him. We sit in silence and I can't help but ponder the tenderness of his kiss. The soft caress of his hand gently stroking my waist became firm as our breaths synchronized. My mind raced back to our kiss, my head still dizzy and lips tingling from the way he felt. My eyes lightly closed, remembering how his lips had felt against mine. His soft and gentle lips, moving in sync with mine as they connected. I sat up, leaning against the back of the seat, my heart pounding in my chest, a small smile spread across my face as I felt Leo's piercing eyes examine my every move.

"Penny for your thoughts," Leo says, resting his hand on my knee,

Laying my hand atop his, I look at him, then allow my restless fingers to touch his chocolatey brown hair. I stroke his cheek and his lips part, my thumb tracing a line along his lower lip. His hand squeezes mine and I feel his breath on my thumb, a slow blink signalling his desire. I cocked my head to the side, trying to figure out what he's thinking about.

"What are you thinking about?" I questioned, my voice barely above a whisper. Leo's eyes twinkled, as he firmly pressed his finger under my chin, my head tilting up slightly so our eyes connected, feeling his gentle breath fan against my face.

"About our kiss." He spoke, a small smile spread across his stunning face. I blushed under his stare, knowing that I'm thinking about the exact same thing. I felt his finger carelessly trail across my face, then placing his thumb on my lower lip, tracing a line against it before placing his hand on top of mine, giving it a reassuring squeeze as I watched him carefully. I swallowed hard, shivers running down my spine as we intensely looked into each other's eyes, only being able to hear the sound of the soft engine below us and the sound of our heavy breathing.

"Princess, we're here." He mumbled, suddenly feeling the car come to a halt. I reluctantly nodded my head, firmly biting the bottom of my lip as I faced away from Leo, my hair falling over my face, my heart racing from our daze as Leo got out of the car, rushing to my side and opening the door for me. I peered up, a small smile and blush forming across my face as he held his hand out for me.

"Thank you." I whispered, firmly grasping hold of his hand, which caused warmth to race up my arm at an immaculate rate. Leo nodded his head slightly, giving me one of his glamorous smiles, causing me to melt into a puddle as he pulled me up, causing me to let out a small squeal as I fell into his arms. I felt his arms securely wrap around my waist, pulling me close against him as butterflies flew inside of my stomach.

"You're my cute lil princess." He smirked, stroking my fringe out of my face, feeling his hand run up and down my back as I wrapped my arms around his neck, gazing up into his eyes again. I felt my cheeks warm, rising into a small blush. Then he slowly bent his head down, my instant reaction being to lift my head up, leaning in closer. I felt his lips peck against mine for the third time tonight, soft and gentle, causing goosebumps to fly across me, my lips tingling at the feel of Leo's gentle lips pressed against mine.

I don't think I'll ever
get used to this.

I smiled in between the kiss, pulling back, heavily breathing. I then smashed my lips against his again, my eyes softly closed, wrapping my arms tighter around his neck, pulling him closer against me so there's no distance between us. Our lips melted against each other, moving in perfect sync. I felt my heart wildly pound inside of my chest, my mind spinning in dizziness. I felt his arms securely wrap around my waist, me now stood on tippy-toes to reach him. I felt the soft taste of mint with a hint of Nutella on his lips, causing me to love the kiss even more. The kiss continued to stay gentle and soft, going no further. My entire body trembled under his gentle touch. Then we reluctantly pulled apart after a few more seconds, as I slowly opened my eyes to face Leo's big, brown chocolatey eyes, filled with excitement and happiness. He gave me another million pound smile, gently stroking my fringe out of my face again, before unwrapping his arms from around me, softly pressing his lips against the top of my head. I swallowed hard, softly closing my eyes as I felt his lips rest on the top of my head, my entire body warming.
