Aliyahs POV:
I glanced at my mum, raising an eyebrow."Hi, you're home early." I mumbled, looking away from Leo and covering the hickey with my hair.
"I know. We could leave early because all the work had been finished." She simply spoke. I nodded.
"So who's this?" She asked, pointing towards Leo.
"Leondre." I simply spoke.
"And you're my daughters boyfriend?" She rose an eyebrow, glancing between the both of us.
"Yes," he smiled proudly.
"No." I instantly spoke, shaking my head, "we're just friends." I glared at Leo. Leo gasped, his eyes glistening in humour,
"I thought you were my girlfriend?!" My mum stood their with an amused expression on her face.
"You 2 seemed pretty... close." My mum spoke, standing in the door way. I blushed, shaking my head in disapproval,
"No, we're just working on a project together." I firmly spoke. She nodded her head,
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Leondre."
"Nice to meet you as well, Mrs Johnson" Leondre grinned.
"Uh.. Miss, please. And you can call me Grace." She smiled at him. I rolled my eyes, feeling a stab in my heart as she said 'Miss', as Leo gave her his million pounds smile which causes all the girls to fall for him.
"Oh, sorry. My mistake, Miss John- I mean Grace." He corrected himself.
"Oh such a gentleman, you got yourself a good guy, Aliyah." My mum dazed. I let out a heavy breath, shaking my head,
"Whatever." I spat. She smirked,
"Well, I'll leave you 2 alone." She then closed the door. I let out a breath. Such a good act.
"Well.. I met your mum!" Leo grinned. I nodded my head, looking away from Leo, feeling slightly ashamed. A mum who's never home, no dad. Why'd he ever fall for me? Tears glistened in my eyes, slowly spilling down my cheeks. I felt Leo's hand place under my chin, turning my head to face him. He sighed, using his thumb to wipe the tears, his face now concerned.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked. The bottom of my lip wobbled,
"Uh.. fine." I croaked.
"No, you're not fine. What's wrong?" He questioned, care filling his voice. I let out a heavy breath, gazing into his chocolatey brown eyes,
"It's just... I don't know what I was thinking." I started, wrapping my arms around Leo's waist, "why would you ever fall for me? You're a bad boy, biggest player and most popular guy of the school, you've got all the charm and good looks. Whereas there's me - a messed up family, who hangs around with only certain people, doesn't get into trouble any more, has a messed up life." I sighed, letting it all out. Leo grasped my hands tightly, looking deeply into my eyes. I got lost in his eyes, feeling as if I were in a daze,
"Aliyah, you might have a messed up life, but everyone has in there own ways. And I don't care how popular you are, if you have a thousand friends or only a few, if you have parents or not. All that matters is that you're yourself. And you are, right?" He spoke, causing my entire heart to warm. I smiled weakly, nodding.
"Thanks, Leo." I whispered. My eyes then dropped to his lips, his perfectly shaped lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck, gazing at his lips, having a sudden desperate urge for them to be pressed against mine. I flickered my eyes from his lips to his big brown chocolatey eyes, my heart melting. A small mole under his eye, faint dark circles resting under his eyes from previous sleepless nights, his long, brown messy hair; messy from the wind. His eyebrows furrowed together slightly, examining me. I blushed under our stare down, taking in every inch of his perfect face. Behind his strong bad boy act, he looks like a proper cute guy. Behind all of his charm, is a sweet and caring guy. Who'd do anything for someone he cares about.
I lifted one of my hands, brushing his long fringe out of his face with my finger tips. We smiled at each other, electric shocks melting through me. I knew I shouldn't, but I felt a part of me connect with this arrogant idiot, and a part of my heart, just falling for him.
But then my head span back to the dare, knowing I can't fall for him. Not if I want this wish to come true. I brushed each centimetre of his face, gently stroking it. I felt his hands rub up and down my waist, slowly moving to my thigh and grasping it securely.
"Aliyah.." he whispered. I blinked, trying to get out of this trans,
"Yeah?" I whispered, wrapping both arms around his neck again. I felt his light breath hit against my face, not realising how close we are to each other. His lips so close to connecting with mine. I swallowed, smelling his perfect scent. Then all of a sudden, the door burst open. Again. I sighed, forcing myself to look away from Leo and face the door. Mason stood there with a girls arms wrapped around his waist, resting her head against his neck, with his arm wrapped around her waist. I blinked, remembering how that used to be me. I forced back the memories, blankly looking at him.
What does he think he's doing? Coming into my room with a girl connected onto him?
"Uh? What are you doing?" I asked, glancing between the both of them as I unwrapped my arms from around Leo's neck. I saw a sly smile on Mason's face.
"Oh, just thought you'd like to see my girlfriend." He rose an eyebrow, planting a kiss on the girls lips. I felt a pang of hurt in my chest as there lips connected, but let it slide, knowing he'll have a new girlfriend by next week. I looked at the girl. She's tall and skinny, blonde straight hair, with a lot of makeup and not much coverage. She's wearing a really short crop top and shorts, looking like a complete slut. I then looked at Mason in confusion. For a starters, he usually doesn't introduce any of his girlfriends. He also doesn't drag them to my house.
"Ok?" I more or less questioned.
"And if we could hang out with you?" Mason asked, glancing at us.
"Er.. we're working on a project." I stated, looking down at the papers.
"Well, that's going to have to wait then, won't it?" Mason announced. I blinked a few times, shocked at his 'attitude'.
"Um, sit down then?" I rose an eyebrow. He nodded, pulling the girl along with him to the opposite bean bag, placing her on his lap. He instantly started to kiss her neck, causing her to sigh in pleasure. I looked over at Leo, who sat there with an amused expression on his face. I then felt his breath hit my ear, as he whispered:
"He's trying to make you jealous." Only loud enough so I can hear. I swallowed, feeling a lump form in the back of my throat, memories flashing back of when me and Mason were together. I shook my head, letting out a heavy sigh.
"Well, this should be fun." I muttered.
