It's so out of tune to the actual song ?😩

Aliyah's POV:

I can't say that our group has gone back to normal, because it's far from normal after these past year events. However, it feels like fragments of our group is slowly falling back into place, and that feeling is good.

"Avery, I told you, nobody can compare to your fashion taste, nobody." Austin chuckles lightly, pointing a fork at her, the fork placed loosely between his finger tips, an effortless smile on his lips.

Avery swoons, fluttering her eyelashes at Austin with a devilish smirk on her lips causing my stomach to twist up in tight knots.

I look down upon realising their flirting, and can't depend upon the denial of these feelings; jealousy.

I look away from the table, and glance around the room, heart skipping a beat when my eyes rest upon Leo, who's sat besides Charlie on a jocks table.

Leo's eyes scan the cafeteria, as if feeling eyes upon him, and when his eyes meets mine, a sudden sorrow and eagerness consumes his eyes, his lips parting as if he wanted to say something, yet couldn't because he was across the room from me.

I look away, the bottom of my lip quivering as I swallow hard, the room suddenly feeling distant and a blurred, having to grasp onto the seat for support due to the feelings of dizziness, which consumes my senses, my breath becoming shallow and quick.

"Ali, are you okay?" Austin directly asks, frowning from my sudden change of state, worry unleashing in his voice.

"F-fine." I breathe heavily, a whimper of pain escaping my lips from the struggle to pronounce words.

"No, you're not, Ali." He confirms, his head frantically scanning the table, searching for help, yet upon the lack of response from others, his hand goes out to place on my shoulder,

"Ali let's get you to the medi-" he tries to persuade, yet I shake my head, fear evolving through me as I back away from his touch, fear rushing through me, the remembrance of both Leo's and Mason's hands on me.

"No, don't touch me!" I screech, voice raising in panic as I stare at his hand, which was centimetres away from hurting me.

"Ali, I wasn't going to hurt you..." Austin frowns, confusion filling his eyes as horror consumes me, swallowing hard, hands trembling frantically by my sides.

His hand delicately places upon my hip, clearly trying to help me, yet my frantic state causes me to stumble away, taking his actions in the wrong way,

"Get your hands off of me!" I scream in his face, my fists coming out from nowhere, suddenly colliding with his face, my voice causing the cafeteria to quieten down, and the punch resulting in all eyes to land on us, however I couldn't focus on the stares, instead only the blood on my fists, the tears streaming down my face and the pain which rushes through me, emotionally.

"Aliyah-" Skylar begins, horror filling her voice from my unusual actions, yet her voice sounding distant and blurred, a ringing sound consuming my eardrums as I blink away tears, blink away the blur, blink away the dizziness.

"Don't." I order, in a hiss, pointing a finger out at her, hectically standing up, the chair falling onto the floor from the sudden movement, stepping away from Austin, who has a hand placed over where I punched him, his cheekbone, and partially his nose, leaning back against the chair for support, all eyes on us.

Yet, he seemed unaffected by my actions, as if he were used to it, instead his eyes focus on me, as if trying to figure out all of the missing puzzle pieces.
