Heya. I just wanted to apologise for the slow updates on this fanfic, it's as I've sort of forgot the plot to this story / how it occurs, so I'm having to make this up as I go along. But once I figure out how to lay the story out I promise to update regularly. But I promise the plot will be good and there shall be regular updates soon :)

So I made this chapter double the length I usually do to apologise for the slow updates.

I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Q: What do you think will happen? Do you think Aliyah will ask Mason about her theory about what occurred to her best friend Austin?

*•*•*•*

Aliyah's POV:

Me and Mason walked towards the park, with drinks in our hands. I chugged the drink down, wanting to be slightly drunk so it'll be easier to talk to him, however not too drunk so I end up doing something reckless or asking him the wrong way.

Despite the fact that the alcohol has already gone to both our heads due to how much we consumed on our way here to break the tension that consumed the air.

Just remembering what Kian had said: flirt the answer out.

I frowned slightly, letting out a heavy breath, trying to concentrate on Austin.
This is for you, Austin.

My hip pressed against him as we walked, not knowing which way to flirt with him. I felt my palms sweat as I neared him again, so our figures were pressing against each other as we walked. Mason peered down at me, raising an eyebrow at my sudden action. However, I continued to look straight ahead, pretending to be oblivious his curious gaze on me.

I peered out of the corner of my eye to see Mason looking forward, a small smirk on his face as he shook his head slightly, suddenly slipping his hand around my waist, pulling me closer against him. I shuddered at the action, swallowing hard, trying to focus on Austin. I felt his hand slip down my waist, placing his hand on my thigh causing shivers to race through me.

I bit the bottom of my lip, beyond glad we're now at the park.

"Where do you want to sit?" Mason enquiries, peering down at me. I glance around the park, trying to find a bench or something to sit on.

"There." I replied, pointing towards a bench that's beside a tree. Mason nodded, leading me towards the bench, his arm still snaked around my waist.

We sat on the bench, Mason's figure pressed against mine, almost as if there was no other room on the bench. I trembled, nervously biting on the bottom of my lip.

The gentle breeze of the wind blew down on us, the sunset reflecting down. However the tree is giving us shade, so the tree is blocking the sunlight from us. The sky has turned an orange, purple sort of colour due to it being early in the evening, with the sun beginning to set.

"So... why the drinks?" Mason asked, raising an eyebrow as he passed me another can. I warily flickered my eyes down at the bottle, grasping it and swigging it back, shrugging in response.

"I-I..." I began, my voice trembling, "I just wanted some fun time." I replied, my voice coming out more firm.

Mason nodded, noticing the look of disbelief he sent me, but he quickly shrugged it off by swigging back the alcohol.
