Aliyah's POV:
I straighten out my black skater skirt, wearing a white blouse along with it, a scarf wrapped loosely around my neck because of the chilly air that rests in the air, along with some black boots.
I exhale, putting on some light pink lip gloss and some mascara to finish off the look.
I examine myself in the mirror, brushing my fingers through my wavy, dark brown hair, looking back at my warm brown eyes.
I bite on the bottom of my lip, sighing as I look down, mentally preparing myself for what may occur today.
Whether it will end good or bad, I know I have to somehow rescue Austin.
I can't let him stay there, knowing that Mason and unfortunately Kian is involved in the disappearance of him.
My chest aches in pain as the thought dawns on me. Kian hadn't been helping me to find Austin, instead having more time to do whatever they did to him.
Anger pulses through me, at me for being so naive and at Kian for lying. Our friendship group shattered into millions of pieces ever since Austin disappeared.
"Aliyah, you look stunning." I hear someone say, to which I turn around to face who spoke.
A blush creeps onto my cheeks as I face Charlie, a grateful smile making it's way onto my lips.
"Thank you, Charlie." I respond, looking down to hide the blush.
Charlie chuckles light-heartedly, leaning against the door frame with his hands dug into his pockets.
"Leo's downstairs, sorry for barging in." he smiles, showing his crystal clear teeth.
"It's fine, I'm ready now anyways." I sheepishly grin, brushing down my outfit before making my way out of the room, Charlie moving out of the way for me as I passed.
"Aliyah?" Charlie questions, placing his hand around my wrist to stop me in my path.
"Yeah?" I respond, turning around to face him again.
He exhales, heavily closing his eyes as if he were mentally preparing himself to tell me.
"Leo briefly let me know what has been going on. I just want you to know that Leo does care about you, and you've changed him, in a good way, so thank you for that Aliyah." Charlie
"It's okay, Charlie." I softly smile, nodding my head at him in a reassuring manner, "Leo has supported me a lot recently, as well, and... as annoying and aggravating as he is... well he is the highlight to my life." I confess, feeling my cheeks flush from the confession as Charlie lightheartedly chuckles, nodding his head in agreement to my words.
"He'll get on your nerves alright." He laughs, leaning against the door frame with his hands dug in his pockets, light blue eyes glistening brightly.
"Wouldn't have him any other way." I explain, brushing down my clothes.
"Good." He softly says, stepping out of my way to let my pass, "your man awaits." He grins sheepishly, causing me to giggle from his words, leisurely stepping past him and make my way towards the stairs.
I place my hands on the rail as I stroll down them, Leo stood at the bottom of the stairs, immediately capturing my eyesight.
He looked ravishingly handsome, with a white shirt layered beneath a black, leather jacket. Then with black jeans ripped in the knees with some black and white Nike's, so simple yet handsome with the tousled, light brown hair and cheesy smirk as he gazes up at me in admiration.
