Aliyah's POV:
"You lost." I whisper after a few seconds of silence, through a dumbfound expression to process what he had just asked me.
"What?" He asks, furrowing his eyebrows as a small frown etched its way onto his lips.
I look down, my cheeks flushing from the first thing that had popped into my head. Any other girl would've instantly said yes, but me being me decided to say something completely off topic because I couldn't find the words to say yes.
"Uh..." I begin, biting on my lower lip, "You lost the bet?" I more or less questioned, eyes bulging upon as I realise what I said, shaking my head in disapproval to my thoughts.
"I mean - I - would-" I begin rambling again, however Leo chuckles, cutting me off, his hair dropping over his eyes as he bows his head down.
"Just kiss me, Johnson." He demands. "I fell for you, I lost. But hell, it was worth it." Leo huskily whispers, causing my cheeks to flush as his lips crash against mine, my instant reaction to wrap my arms around his neck as I kiss him back with an intensity I could barley recognise.
However, knowing his feelings towards me are real, made me kiss him harder; with a deeper intensity which sent sparks to fly through me. An overwhelming sense of thrill shivering through me as I smile between the kiss, heart pounding violently inside of my chest.
"Yes, you arrogant idiot, I'll be your girlfriend." I smile, kissing him again, repetitive short kisses until a long, fiery, passionate kiss we share between us.
"Thank you, my cute lil princess, I promise to make you the happiest, craziest girl alive." Leo grins sheepishly, his forehead pressing against mine with his hands cupping my cheeks, a wild intensity consuming his eyes and delight as we gaze into one another's eyes; yet I knew the same emotions consumed my eyes.
"As do I, Devries." I smile sheepishly, tangling my fingers through his eyes as I lightly peck his lips, the passion I feel towards him consuming the kiss.
"God, I will never get enough of you Aliyah Johnson." He whispers, his voice husky as a wave of shivers coax through me from his alluring words.
After we share more kisses, fiery and passionate, we finally pull apart, yet can't hold back the bright smiles which are perched on our lips, his hand intertwining with mine and among them few seconds, I felt like the happiest girl alive.
Looking down at the floor, a ferocious blush on my cheeks, the smile on my lips widening as Leo pulls me to his side, resting his chin on my head.
"Are you ready to save that best friend of yours?" Leo asks, his voice a mumble.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I confirm, heavily exhaling as my eyes close heavily, the reality of the situation dawning on me again despite the previous joy which had consumed me.
"Best be." Leo sighs, his arms wrapping around my waist tighter among each passing second.
*•*•*•*•*•*
"Is it here?" Leo frowns, pushing past branches, his hand connected with mine as I walk behind him.
"Er... I guess so." I shrug, pursing my lips together. "I feel like this is another series of Hansel and Gretel." I scoff, looking at the cabin that was hidden among several trees miles away from civilisation. The cabin looked too casual. But I guess if they made it look un-casual, anyone who sees it would be suspicious. Well, more suspicious.
"There's a lot of difference, my cute lil princess. Such as they were siblings, and it was made out of candy, the bungalow, and there was a witch inside of the house. Who wanted to eat them." Leo states, scrunching his face up at the idea of eating humans.
