Logan Greenwood
A light rain began to settle in the air. Logan heaved a heavy sigh and looked down at his hands. There was no skin or bones and for a moment, Logan couldn't remember what was happening. He couldn't remember why almost his entire body had disappeared. Then it hit him as a freight train. He was paying for what he did a few years ago. Sometimes, when Logan was alone, he'd think about if that was really the reason for it all. He looked at the dark earth covering Darwin's body and shook his head.
"This is the best I have to offer, buddy." Logan knew his best friend deserved so much more. He knew that Darwin should've been buried in a suit and a white casket with everyone who knew him celebrating his life. His life that was cut short by the scissors of insanity. Darwin lost the fight against the Demons many years ago, he just didn't know it. As his best friend, Logan was the first to know about the captivating voices inside Darwin's head. The explanation he gave was lined up next to the horror films that had some insane ending. Logan ran his hands through the dirt just to feel something.
He seemed to keep forgetting what he was doing here and why he wasn't at home. In those moments it hit him hard. He tried to come up with explanations as to why he wasn't heading back home to see his family. Logan looked down at where his hands should've been and saw the dirty smudges that lined his fingers. Then, his eyes flicked to the pile of dark earth and he wondered what it was and why he was slumped against a tree next to it. Was he lost? Or were he and Silas playing hide and seek like they used to when they were younger?
Logan couldn't remember for the life of him where he was, why he was invisible, and what this pile of dirt was in front of him. It all was slipping away into nothing. He tried to concentrate and remember what he was just thinking of minutes prior, but it all came up empty. As if Logan hadn't been here mentally this whole time. Maybe he hadn't.

Silas couldn't take it anymore. The walls were too white, the room was too small, and his mind was too broken to stay here anymore. He crawled across the floor towards the only way out. The solid, wooden door seemed to get farther and farther away every time he made a sluggish move. "Please let me go." He pleaded to no one. Something in his heart told him Ceaser was close. If he could just make it to his brother everything would be okay. If he could only make it out.
Just then, the door swung open and he scooted back to the corner. He wanted to start crying again, but he couldn't seem to make the tears. So instead, when he saw Grey, he only glared. This was the man who held him here and took his brothers away from him.
"Stay away from me." His throat was raw causing his voice to crack. Grey only rolled his only and sat down in the only chair in the room.
"Listen Silas, I know you're upset. I really don't want to make this any harder than it has to be so it would be really great if you could just cooperate today, okay?"
"And if I don't?" Silas grunted keeping his eyes on the detective. "What are you gonna do?"
"You, Ceaser, your older sister, your mom, and your dad will be sent to jail for assisting a murderer."
Silas pressed his back against the wall, trying to wake up from this nightmare. He felt hot tears stray from his eyes and he knew his every feature was red. "What do you want?" As he spoke, he felt all his hope of leaving drain from him.
"Where is Logan?" Grey leaned forward. Silas noticed a recording device in the pocket of his suit. His eyes returned to their sharp glare.
