Chapter 21

Erin's POV

We landed in Paris and got a cab to our hotel, "This looks beautiful Harry!" I said, "Yeah it does" he agreed, "We're going to meet your family tomorrow, today we can just relax, the day after tomorrow is your birthday and I have it all planned, then the rest of the week we can do whatever, I have a few things planned though" Harry explained, I nodded as we got into the hotel, Harry signed stuff and we got the key card, we then went to our designated room, I went straight to the balcony and looked out, the view was lovely, you could see the beautiful city of love, which I was in, with Harry, for my birthday.

"Lets go to the pool" Harry suggested, "I have to put my bikini on" I said going to change into shorts and a light t shirt with my bikini underneath, grabbing my phone and towel and heading downstairs with Harry. This holiday was going to be great, we would both get a new phone case with our photos on it, which was our thing, we already had three, and I treasured all of them, wanting to keep them forever.

"We have to take loads of photos so we can get a phone case" I said chuckling, "I know, of course we will, we ways do" Harry said, I chuckled and nodded in agreement, we take a lot of photos together, which is strange, you would think Harry would hate doing stuff like that but he looks as though he enjoys it. "Wanna go for a swim?" Harry asked, "Sure" I said, standing up and following Harry into the water, I shivered as it was cold but eventually got used to it. Harry and I were splashing around, pushing each other and the rest, when a guy around our age, maybe a few years older, came over to us, "Harry?" he asked, Harry looked up, "Louis!" he said engulfing the boy in a hug, "Lou, this is my girlfriend Erin, Erin this is Louis, we're in the same band in X factor" he said, "It's nice to meet you" I said as he hugged me, "Oh, this is my girlfriend Eleanor, Eleanor this is Harry and Erin" Louis said, Eleanor smiled, "Hi" she said bubbly, I smiled at her, this trip was getting good, and at least I know Harry isn't in a band where all the guys are douche bags, in fact, Louis seems like a nice lad.

For that full day, Harry, Louis, Eleanor and I hung out together at the pool, I got to know them well, they're both really funny, Eleanor and I promised to keep in touch, we got along great, it was great to know that she was in the same situation as me, her boyfriend leaving for X factor and her staying behind, but she seemed as though she didn't mind too much, as did I, it would be selfish and mean if we didn't want them to leave, they were chasing their dreams.

"Erin move your arse we have to go" Harry moaned, "Give me a minute" I yelled putting my hair into a messy side braid and straightening out my outfit, I was wearing denim shorts and a peach button up shirt with no sleeves, I had black boots and black sun glasses on too, I walked out of the room and smiled at Harry, "Ready?" I asked, he nodded, he was wearing black jean shorts that went to his knees and a white t shirt and black sun glasses, "Lets go" he said as we left, I had money and my phone in my pocket and I was excited to meet my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles again, I hardly ever see them!

We got to a park and I saw my grandparents, I smiled and ran towards them. "méme! pépé!" I screamed, embracing them in hugs, "Erin" they both said in their adorable French accents, my family were originally from France but moved to England when my mum was younger and my mum met my dad and they stayed there while most of her family move back here five years ago. They speak fluent English and French and I can speak French too but I'm not fluent in it.

"It's been so long" grandad said to me, "I know, how have you all been?" I asked, Harry was now standing beside me, "Great, we've all been good, how have you been? Who's this?" grandma asked, "This is my boyfriend Harry, he is the one who brought me here for my birthday tomorrow" I said, they smiled at him, "Thank you boy! You seem like a great guy" grandma said, "Lets go to our house and your aunts and cousins are there" she added as the four of us walked towards their house. We got there and it was even bigger than I remember, after all it had to be big as all of them lived in the one house. We went inside and I hugged all of them, they all hugged Harry too, making us both seem very welcome, they led us to the dinning room table and we all sat down for a big meal.

"So Erin what have you been up to?" my cousin Percy asked, "Not much, what's been going on around here?" I asked, "Um, nothing. We all live boring lives" he said chuckling, I laughed a bit, "What about you Harry? Anything happening in your life?" he asked Harry, all attention was drawn to him and he looked uncomfortable, I decided to help him out, "Harry's auditioned for the X factor back in England, he got through to live shows" I said smiling at him, "Thats good son" my grandmother said.

We went through the day catching up on old stories and memories, telling each other funny things, my family telling Harry embarrassing things about me from when I was a child and we had a great meal. I was gave presents from them all for my birthday, in all honesty I didn't expect anything from them but they gave me stuff including bath sets and fancy bracelets and rings, just the usual things to get a girl, I loved them, they were beautiful. I felt so happy to be here with my family, and it felt even better knowing Harry was here with me too, I felt totally relaxed, I had no worries, was so stress free and didn't have to worry about other people, it was great.

"Happy birthday baby" Harry whispered into my ear, waking me from my slumber, I stirred and looked into his bright green eyes and smiled, "I love you" I said pecking his lips, "I have a present for you" he said sitting up, "Harry! You've already spent so much just on this holiday" I scolded, he shrugged and handed me a small box, I opened it, it was a necklace with a diamond heart pendant, and on the back it said 'E+H' it was so cute, I smiled and pecked Harry's lips, "Thank you Harry, I love it" I said, "Will you put it on for me?" I asked, he nodded an clipped it around my neck, "Come on, we have a big day ahead of us" Harry said, "Go get dressed and we'll start our day" he added, I nodded and stood up, going to the bathroom, washing my face, brushing my teeth and applying light make up, I came out an saw Harry putting his jeans on, he was shirtless, "Stop drooling babe" Harry said, "I'm not drooling" I stated, "Yeah alright" he said, "In your dreams" I said going to the wardrobe and picking out my outfit.

I ended up choosing a floral short skirt, a white crop top and a sleeveless short denim jacket, I topped it off with low white converse, I took my hair out of its braids that I had out it in coming out of a shower last night and it was wavy, I left the room and went to the living room where Harry was tapping away at his phone, he looked up and smiled at me, "You look beautiful baby" Harry complimented, "Thank you Harry" I said pecking his cheek and putting my phone and money in the pockets of the denim jacket.

We went down to the lobby and there was a man waiting for us, he took us into a taxi and the car drove off, "Where are we going?" I asked, " a surprise" Harry answered, I chuckled and sat back in my seat, "The drive is about a half hour" the taxi driver said to us, I saw Harry smile, "Say cheese" he said taking a picture of me, I chuckled and took a photo of him, we ended up taking loads of 'selfies' on the way to the mysterious place. I was growing more and more excited every minute as we passed signs and fields and rows of houses.
