Our new house is amazing.

This is the first house Jace and his team from work, flipped. Jace said it was just an old broken house when he found it and it reminded him of us.

We were so broken when we met. We need each other. We needed each other to help build us back up and put us back together.

I pack the twins stuff up for them to go stay with Layla and Seth. Emma is going to Chelsea and Trent's tonight too. Jace and I will have the whole house to ourselves.

I put the twins in their car seats, as the doorbell rings.

"Hey, babe." Seth smiles.

"Hey, guys." I smile to him and Layla.

"Are they ready?" Layla asks.

"Yeah, finally." I laugh.

"Oh, Elle. I love this house!" Layla exclaims.

"Me too, Jace did great on it." I smile, looking around my house. "What are y'all going to do tonight?"

"Well, I'm gonna teach my Godson here about Xbox One." Seth laughs and tickles Rylan.

Layla rolls her eyes and I laugh.

"Probably just sit at home. I wanna spoil my Godbabies." Layla grins.

I laugh. We talk for awhile before they leave.

Chelsea comes to get Emma and then it's just me by myself.

I'm still a little nervous about being alone, since everything with David. But I know for a fact he's dead this time, since I shot him myself. That eases my head a little bit. I still have nightmares, though. I guess that's to be expected when you kill someone.

I'm cuddled up with a book, when the doorbell rings.

I look through the peephole to see a very well dressed man.

I nervously open the door.

He looks up at me with bright blue eyes and smiles timidly. "Arielle Crawford?"

"Yes." I shake my head. "Can I help you?"

A faint smile plays on his face. "I'm not sure. My name is Christopher."

I look at him confused. Why is that name familiar?

He looks at his polished dress shoes. "Christopher Crawford."

"I'm your father."
