Weeks go by and more and more tests are done.

Apparently one of the babies is about 3 weeks behind in development and size.

The doctors suggested Selective Reduction Surgery which would kill the smaller baby to keep the bigger one alive.

Jace and I have been considering it, but I don't think I could kill either of my babies. I know that it sounds crazy because it makes my chance of both babies dying a bigger possibility. I just can't kill one of my babies.

I've been being monitored to see any changes and now that I'm almost 8 months pregnant their thinking of emergency births. The only risk with that is that the smaller baby could die since it hasn't fully developed.

I'm so scared and worried for my babies.

"Here, baby." Jace hands me a plate of Chicken Parmesan. "You need to eat."

I take a few bites and one of the babies kicks my ribs. "Ah!"

I grab my ribs and Jace gives me a worried look.

I feel small movements in my belly and laugh. "They like it." I smile.

"Well of course they do." Jace laughs. "Their daddy is an amazing cook. Isn't that right Emma?"

Emma giggles and nods her head eagerly.

We finish our food and Jace gives Emma a bath.

I go to the nursery and sit in the reading chair.

Jace did an amazing job painting and decorating. I love how gender neutral and beautiful it is.

"Come on, babe. Let's get to bed." Jace whispers and helps me out of the chair.

I wake with a horrible pain in my stomach.

"Jace!" I scream.

He automatically jumps up.

"Ah!" I scream as one of the babies kicks me.

"Hold on, Elle. I'm calling Trent." Jace tells me and picks up his phone.

Chelsea and Trent come to watch Emma, while Jace rushes me to the hospital.

We step into the emergency room and a gush of warm liquid runs down my legs.

"No!" I scream. "No, no, no!"

Jace looks at me with a petrified look.

The nurses immediately take me back and get me settled in a room.
