Monday.
The day everyone one hates. It's been more than 24 hours since I last saw her but I can't get her out of my head.
Her eyes. They're the same. How can anyone be so similar? Then her asking me if there's anything on her nose. That can't be a coincidence. How?
The rest of the day we'd spent together was fun. Whenever I looked at her, she always looked away first and slightly blushed, everytime. I did tend to have that effect on girls, what? I'm not being cocky. I'm just stating facts.
Though, I had to admit it, she was amazing. And she reminded me so much of Shanaya.
Well today was the first time any one could be excited that it was Monday. I wanted to see her again.
I'd met Chase later on Saturday to get my car. I told him I'd crashed the night at Shanaya's place and spent the day with her. But I didn't say anything else. I didn't want him to know everything yet. Besides I think Chase liked Sasha. And that bothered me, a lot.
So here I was, in the school parking lot waiting for her.
"Zayden, my man, what's up?" Chase sauntered over to me. He had a huge grin plastered on his face.
"Why are you so happy this morning?"
"Oh it's nothing."
Then I got it. "You got laid didn't you?"
"Yesh." He said half embarrassed.
I just laughed. It was no secret that Chase was a huge play boy. Maybe that's part of the reason why I didn't want him around Sasha.
"We have football practice today man. You.." Chase continued.
Just then, Sasha's shining BMW came through the school gate.
"Chase I'll talk to you later."
"What are you.."
"Later." And I walked towards her BMW.
She looked moderately surprised and mainly pleased to see me leaning against the car next to her. That's a good sign.
"Hey." She greeted me smiling. She had a nice smile. A very nice smile.
"Hey yourself."
"What's up? You were waiting for me?" We started walking towards the school. People around were shooting us curious looks.
"Yeah, actually.. about that. I wanted to thank you properly. For Friday.."
I opened the door for her and she smiled at me gratefully.
"..And?" She prompted, looking amused.
Why is this so hard? I've asked girls out before. It wasn't nearly this hard.
"Would you like to.. go out with me?"
"Go out with you.. as in on a date?" She was making this so hard.
"Yup. On a date. Later today."
"I can't really go today."
"Oh." I was a little disappointed. Okay, I was very disappointed.
"But I'm free later this week. Maybe Wednesday? You okay with that?"
"Wednesday. Yeah. Totally. Cool. Wednesday." I sounded like a little boy with a crush.
Get it together, Zayden.
She smiled at me, obviously noticing my nervousness. Oh man, I was looking at her smile again. I had this overwhelming urge to kiss her.
