Laurie's Pov: I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and all day I have been feeling off and on contractions and I thought that it was braxt and hicks that was until my water broke.
I called my siblings and my parents and my sister is on her way to take me to the hospital.
After about 5 minutes my sister got to my apartment and Came in grabbed my pre-packed hospital bag and helped me get to the car.
" How Are you doing?" Jelysa asked me
" Good" I told as I breathed through the pain
" You are doing amazing, Lolo" She tells me and soon we pull into the hospital parking lot
We got inside the hospital and they brought me to the labor and delivery floor of the hospital. I got changed from my clothes to the hospital gown and got in bed .
My family came in and my mom and sister ran to me and held my hands as a strong contraction hit me.
Jelysa's Pov: Laurie called me and told me that her water broke and that she is in labor.
The day that I have been waiting for is finally here. Today is the day that I get to meet my niece.
Laurie is in her hospital room changing from her clothes into the hospital gown .
Mom and I walked into the room to see Laurie breathing through a rough contraction.
Laurie told us that she doesn't want an epidural when she got into her second trimester.
Marcus's Pov: Laurie called me and the rest of the family and told us that her water broke and she is in labor.
Today is the day that I get to meet my niece and I can't wait to be an Uncle.
My dad and I are in the waiting room waiting for someone to come and tell us that the baby is here.
Laurie's Pov: It has been 8 hours since my water broke.
I am 9 centimeters dilated .
A nurse came in to check me and when she was done she told me that I am fully dilated and it is time to push and bring my baby girl into this world.
( Laurie Pushing )
" Laurie, I need you to give me a really big push. The babies head is crowning" The doctor tells me from the end of the bed
I pushed as hard as I could.
" Ok Laurie, The head is out. Give me a really big push . You are doing fantastic" The doctor tells me from the end of the bed
" Laurie the shoulder's are almost out. On the count of 3 I need you to push until you reach 10" The doctor tells me and I do as I am told
" Laurie the shoulder's are out. I need you to give me one more push and the baby will be out" The doctor tells me
I push one more time and I feel the baby come out. I fall back onto the bed.
" Congratulations, Your beautiful baby girl is here" The doctor tells me who hands me my daughter who then let's out a cry
Jelysa's Pov: I watched as my little sister gave birth to her baby girl.
After Laurie had her baby in her arms I walked into the waiting room to tell Our dad and Marcus that the baby is here.
I can't believe it my little sister is a mom and I am an aunt.
Laurie's Pov: My little girl is asleep in my arms and my parents and siblings are in the delivery room to formally meet my daughter for the first time.
" Guys, I want you to meet Isabelle Valentina Hernandez " I tell my family with a smile on my face
After each one of family members had held Isabelle and visiting with them for a little bit my brother and parents decided to go home but my sister was going to stay because she had the week off.
" Isabelle, I love you so much baby girl. I will always protect you, love you, be there for you, care for you, no matter what is going on in the world." I say to my sleeping daughter
