Wedding dress shopping

Val's Pov: The dwts season ended and I ended up in 4th place with my partner.

After the season ended Laurie and I packed up our clothes and Isabelle's clothes and locked up the house that I bought for when we are in L.A. And we went back to New York.

Laurie and I have been back in New York for about a week and in this past week Laurie and I have really started to plan the wedding. We have decided on our colors and the venue and the food and the time of year we want to get married.

( Next Day )

Today, Laurie is going to go shopping for her wedding dress so I am going to stay with Isabelle at the house and Mak's is coming over so that we can talk about the new DWM location.

We had just finished eating breakfast and it is almost time for laurie to leave.

Laurie grabbed her purse and turned to face me and grabbed her and pulled her flush against my chest and kissed her until we heard Mak's.

" Val , Don't swallow her " Mak's tells me teasingly

We pulled back to see Mak's smiling at us.

A few minutes later We heard a car horn and Laurie tried to get out of my arms but was unsuccessful.

" Val , I have to go. I am shopping for my wedding dress today" She tells me

" Fine. But the only reason I am letting you out of my arms is because it means that you are one step closer to becoming my wife." I tell Laurie lovingly has I walk her to the door

Mak's Pov: Today Laurie is going wedding dress shopping with my girlfriend Peta and my mom along with her mom and sister and Olympic teammates.

I made it Laurie and Val's house because Val and I are going to discuss the new DWM location. I walked into the house to find Laurie and Val in the living room kissing. Val had his arms tight around Laurie's waist and had her body flush with his.

" Val, Don't swallow her." I tell my little brother teasingly

Laurie and Val pull back but their bodies don't move an inch.

After a few minutes of talking Laurie says bye to Val and I and leaves to go dress shopping.

Val and I talked about the new DWM location for a few minutes but then I changed the subject.

" So , Where is my little niece?" I ask Val

" She is still asleep. I don't have to wake her up for another 45 minutes and I am very happy about it" Val tells me and I start to laugh

" Why is waking Izzy up a pain in the butt?" I ask Val Curiously

" Because, She got her morning side from me. If you wake her up one minute early and you just know that that entire day she will be fussy " He tells me

" Like father, Like daughter" I tell him

" It's okay though because she gets her looks from Laurie so I can't be mad at her even if I try" He tells me

Laurie's Pov: Today I am going wedding dress shopping with Peta my future mother in law and my mom and sister and my Olympic teammates.

We made it to the bridal shop and we met the consultant that was assigned to me and started looking at wedding dresses.

I tried on wedding dresses for a few hours and I didn't think any of them were the one until I tried next wedding dress ( shown above ). I walked out and everyone started to cry and so did I.

" Laurie , Are you saying yes to this dress?" My dress consultant asks me

" Yes. I am say yes to the dress." I say in tears and I am engulfed in hugs by everyone

After paying for the dress and setting up an appointment for a dress fitting we left to go eat seeing as it is lunch time.

I can't believe it my wedding is in 2 months. I am getting married to my best friend in 2 months. My life is perfect right now.
