Val and Laurie: Baby Girl

The Break Up

Val's Pov: Mak's and I were approached with the opportunity to go on our very own summer tour and I couldn't be any happier than I am right now.

I have a beautiful, Smart, Girlfriend and I am going on a sold out tour this summer with my brother. Life couldn't get any better than this.

Laurie's Pov: I am going over to my sister's house to pick her up because she is coming with me to the doctors appointment for the baby.

I am hoping that I am far enough along to find out the gender of my baby.

" Hey, Hey" I say to my sister when she gets in the car

" Hey, LoLo, How is my niece or nephew?" She asks me

" Good" I tell her

" Any more Morning sickness?" She asks me as I pull onto the highway

" I had morning sickness this morning but other than that no" I tell her

After about 10 minutes of driving we made it to the doctors office.

We had to wait for a couple of minutes to go back to the exam room.

" Ms. Hernandez, I understand that you are pregnant, Congratulations. Lets take a look at your little one" The doctor suggests and I lay down and pull my shirt up over my stomach

" You are about 14 weeks along, so you are able to find out the gender. Would you like to know the gender?" The doctor asks me

" Yes , I would like to know the gender" I tell her

" It looks like you are having a baby girl" She tells and wipes the gel off my stomach

After about 20 minutes of talking to the doctor and getting ultrasound pictures and setting up the next appointment, we headed back to Jelysa's house.

" Laurie, Are you going to inform the public of the baby ?" Jelysa asks me

" Yes, I am " I tell her

" Do you want to post a picture of your ultrasound picture?" She asks me

" Yeah lets do that" I tell her

I posted the picture without a captioning it and after about an hour I got a call from the executive producer of Gma asking me to do an interview in 2 days and I said yes.

"Our next guest won silver and gold at the olympics and won dancing with the stars, Laurie Hernandez " Michael announced and I walked out

Once I was sitting next to them they started to ask their questions

" So, You posted this picture of an ultrasound photo on your instagram 2 days ago. What is the story behind that?" Robin asked as a picture of the ultrasound picture came up on the screen

" Well, I am Expecting" I tell them and they quickly congratulate me

" So how far along are you?" Natalie asks

" 14 weeks " I tell them with a smile on my face

" How did you find out that you are pregnant?" Ginger asked me

" The day before I posted the ultrasound photo I woke up feeling nauseous but I thought it was acid reflux so I thought nothing of it but I drove to my sister's house for a girls day and when I walked in the door I could smell her cooking eggs and something about the smell had me running to the bathroom" I admit

" Do you know the gender of your baby?" Robin asked me

" Yes , I do" I divulge

" Are you going to announce the gender of your baby or are you going to keep it a secret?" Natalie asked me

" I am going to keep the gender of my baby a secret for now and I will reveal it after the baby is born" I tell them

" Who is the father and is he in the picture?" Ginger asked me curiously

" At the moment he is not in the picture" I tell them and soon the interview is over and I am on my way home.

When I got home I called Val because I have to break up with him.

Val's Pov: I am at home preparing for the tour with Mak's and Laurie called me.

" Hey , Babe" I say answering the phone

" Val , We need to break up" She tells me through the phone

" Okay, I need to know do you still love me?" I ask her my voice cracking on the last word

" More than you will ever know" She tells me

" Laurie, I love you" I tell as tears stream down my face

" I Love you too,Val" She tells me and with that she hung up

I walked into the basement of my house that I share with Mak's and I could tell he knew something was up

" Val, What's Wrong?" He asks me

" Laurie Broke up with me" I tell him and I feel my heart shatter into a thousand tiny shards and I collapse into tears

I love Laurie and I know that she loves me but maybe the long distance relationship between us was to hard on her. I still have the tour and my brother so I will be okay, It may hurt but I will be okay.
