Val and Laurie: Baby Girl

Val's Pov: Laurie and I have been spending a lot of time with our daughter but I want to Tell my family about our daughter. I need to talk about Laurie about telling my family about Isabelle.

" Laurie, I want to tell my family about Isabelle. Is that ok?" I ask Laurie

" Val, Isabelle is your daughter and they are your parents." Laurie tells me

" Does that you mean you will go with me?" I ask her

" When do you want to tell your family?" She asks me and I knew it was a yes so I pulled her into my arms and kissed her

I called my parents to get a plan for when we could get together and it was decided that we are going to meet up for the family dinner at Mak's house tomorrow and I am super excited.

After getting off the phone with Mak's and my parents I went to spend time with my daughter.

Mak's Pov: Today is the day of the Chmerkovskiy family dinner and I can't wait to see Laurie and Val and My parents.

After a couple hours of waiting My parents showed up and it wasn't long after that when Val and Laurie pulled up but They didn't come inside right away they to the backseat and Laurie reached for something but Val stopped her and handed her a Diaper bag and he got out of the backseat and he had a car seat in his arms.

" We have a lot of explaining to do" Val says when they reach the front door

" Yes, You do. Now come inside we don't the little nugget getting sick" I tell them

They come inside and the baby inside the car seat started to cry and scream and Val set it down and was quick to get the baby out of the car seat in his arms and started sway back and forth calming the baby down.

" Mom, Dad , Mak's, I want you to meet my daughter Isabelle" Val tells us

We headed to the living room and we sat down and started to talk.

" Val, How old is your daughter?" I ask my little brother

" She is 3 months old" He tells us

" When did this happen?" I ask turning to Laurie

" I found out that I was pregnant when You and Val were preparing for your tour" Laurie informs us, Everything started to fall into place

" Isabelle is why you broke up with Val " I say

" Yes , I didn't tell Val about Isabelle because I didn't want him to give up his career and I knew that if he would've found out about her he would've given it all up" Laurie explains

" Okay, Now that I know I have a niece can I hold her?" I ask Val who is currently holding his daughter in his arms

" Yes, You can hold her " He tells me and I sit down now wanting to slip and fall with a baby in my arms

" Val, She looks just like you. She is so adorable " I tell Val

I look over my shoulder to see our parents looking at my little brothers sleeping baby girl.

" She has us all wrapped around her tiny little finger" Val comments pulling Laurie into his arms

After we ate dinner our parents decided to go home because it was getting late and soon after that the weather started to get worse and I wasn't about to let Laurie and Val drive home in this weather.

" Laurie, It's getting late. We should head home" Val tells Laurie

" Absolutely Not, The weather is terrible outside and there is no way in hell that I am going to let You, Laurie and my niece drive in this weather " I tell Val before Laurie can say a word

Val finally noticed the weather and agreed with me.

" Okay, I guess we are staying here tonight" Val says

Val got a shower in my bathroom while Laurie gave Isabelle a bath in the guest bathroom soon we were all showered.

Laurie and I were talking and we looked over to find Val and Isabelle asleep. Isabelle was asleep on Val's Chest and Val had his hands on her back protecting her from Rolling off of Val.

" It so weird seeing Val as a dad" I comment to Laurie

" When Val first met Isabelle she was 2 months old and he showed up at my door saying that he knew about Isabelle so I let him in and he asked if he could see his daughter and I said yes. We walked into Isabelle's nursery and she was asleep but after a few minutes she started to wake up and she was being fussy and without even saying a word he picked her up and was swaying back and forth calming her down and within minutes she was asleep in his arms" She tells me

Isabelle started to squirm in her sleep and Val pulled her closer to his chest subconsciously.

" Has he always been like this?" I ask Laurie

" Yes, I once went to the grocery store and Val volunteered to watch Isabelle and I was gone for about an hour but when I got home Val was asleep on the couch and he had Isabelle Asleep on his chest" She tells me

Even though Val has only known about his daughter for about a month he is a fantastic father to his baby girl . He stepped into the being a father role within minutes of seeing his child I hope that I can be just as good a father to my son when he gets here that Val is to his Baby girl.
