Val and Laurie: Baby Girl

Date Night

Laurie's Pov: Val and I have been dating for about 2 months and Isabelle is 4 months old.

Val wants to go out on a date but I haven't been away from Isabelle since she was born and she is only 4 months old but Val isn't taking no for an answer.

Val and I had gotten ready and he was wearing a pair of black dress pants and dark grey button up dress shirt and a suit jacket and I was wearing a red form fitting dress that went past the knee and a pair of black heels.

I headed down stairs to find Val holding our sleeping daughter in his arms and Mak's was standing there in awe of Val as a dad.

It took a minute for Val to notice that I was downstairs watching him with Isabelle but when he saw me his reaction was priceless.

" Babe, You look absolutely gorgeous" He comments

" Thank you. You look very handsome" I tell him and it was true he looked hot

" How long have you been standing here ?" Val asked me , curiosity present in his voice

" Only a minute but I saw you holding Isabelle " I answer him

" How long has she been asleep?" I ask Val looking at our conked out baby girl

" Not to long" She tells me

" I was holding Isabelle and she started to cry and I tried to calm her down but it wasn't working then Val walked in the room and took her from my arms and within seconds she was asleep " Mak's explains to me

After holding Isabelle and putting on our jackets I started to explain Isabelle's schedule.

" Laurie, I watched Her last week. She will be just fine we are going to eat then it is bath and bedtime" He tells me

After Val and I both gave Isabelle one more kiss on the head we headed to the car for our date night.

Val's Pov: Laurie and I are going to dinner tonight for a much needed date night and Mak's is watching Isabelle but when we got to the restaurant we saw that it was surrounded by the paparazzi.

We got out of the car and they went crazy asking us questions about our daughter and we decided to answer them.

P- Where is your daughter?

V- At Home.

P- Who is watching your daughter?

L- Val's Brother. Our daughters Uncle.

After answering the questions of the paparazzi we went inside and sat down to enjoy our data night dinner.

Val and I were sitting down at our table talking after finishing our dinner and Val got a call. When Val was on the phone I saw his whole expression change, his smile dropped and his eyes were filled with worry and panic. After Val got off the phone he told me what is going on.

Val's Pov: Laurie and I are at dinner for a very much needed date night. Laurie had finished eating dinner and were talking when Mak's started to call me.

As soon as I answered the phone Mak's was talking.

" Val , Isabelle started running a fever and I rushed her to E.R. You and Laurie need to get here now" Mak's tells me

I told Laurie what is happening and we paid the check and tried to get through the paparazzi to our car to get to our daughter.

The paparazzi were asking questions about why we were leaving and where we were going and we didn't answer them because it is none of their business and we need to get to our sick child.
