Dancing with the Stars producers asked me to replace Julianne as a judge permanently...... And I said yes.
Hopefully Val is okay with this.
Also, None of the other professional dancers know about me being a judge, but the female pro's will find out at rehearsals for the female pro's opening number.
The female pro's and I will be performing the opening number together and I am nervous this is my first time being on the show since I gave birth and married Val.
{ Fast forward to female pro's rehearsal }
I hid behind a Door while Mandy tells the female pro's about the 'addition' to the number.
" Okay, ladies. We have a new permanent judge taking Julianne's place who will be included in this number" She tells them
" Who is this new judge?" Peta asks Mandy
" Come on out" Mandy yells in my direction
" I'm back Ladies" I tell them walking out
" Laurie!!!" They yell and I am engulfed in a huge hug
" Okay, ladies now that you know that Laurie is the permanent judge replacing Julianne you can't tell the guys " Mandy tells them and they all nod
We start to work on the routine and I was Surprised at how well I did considering I haven't done ballroom dancing since the tour.
I only have 2 more days until the live show and I am nervous but I am excited.
{ 2 days later }
Val has been on set since early this morning.
I have my managers daughter will be watching Isabelle in my trailer.
{ A few hours later }
I am back stage with the female pro's waiting to go on while the celebrities and male pro's watch from the skybox.
The girls and I are announced and we take our places on the walkway and the music starts and we start to dance.
{ Pretend Laurie is in Sharna's spot }
We finish the dance and I feel amazing. I think that is women slayed that dance.
Val's Pov:
Today is the season premiere and Since Julianne decided to not be a judge anymore we have a new judge.
We are all wondering who the new judge is but right now the female pro's are getting ready to dance.
They started to dance and they came down the stairs and the light's came up and I saw Laurie dancing with the female pro's holding her own.
After they are done dancing Laurie looks up at me and flashes a bright smile.
" Our very own Laurie chmerkovskiy will be judging " Tom announces
" What does Val think about your performance?" Tom asks Laurie
" I don't know. What do you think, babe?" She asks me
The camera turns towards me and I start to bow down in awe of my wife.
After we went to commercial break Laurie rushed backstage to get 'dolled' up.

Once Laurie was all 'dolled' up she walked out and my jaw dropped. She looks just as beautiful as she did on our wedding day.
" Val, If you don't close your mouth you will catch fly's" Mak's tells me
" Go away, Mak's. Let me stare at my wife without interruption and I will do the same for you when you can't keep your eyes off Peta " I tell him raising my arching my eyebrows
" I don't know what your talking about" Mak's tells me
" Okay. I'll let you believe that " I tell him
The show started and Laurie was doing amazing she was being fair and was giving criticism and she really sounded like she was pro ballroom dancer.
Later that night I head to the trailer that has been assigned to Laurie and I find her and Isabelle inside getting ready to head out.
" You did absolutely amazing " I tell Laurie kissing her lips
" Let's go home " she tells me
" Okay, Mrs. Chmerkovskiy " I tell her grabbing her hand and picking up our daughters carseat carrier and we walked to the car
I am absolutely stoked about Laurie judging.
I get to have my wife and daughter with me at work. I love them. I will always want to have them with me.
