"Grayson hasn't told you? Classic" Jake begins to laugh. "He's an addict."

"I know, he already told me but he's not anymore he clean, and he's already told me that the drugs made him do bad things." I say confident eyeing Jake.

"Did he tell you what kind of things? Like what he did for me?" Jake starts to walk toward me slowly, he rarely blink so I felt trapped in his gaze. My throat felt dry at the question, I looked at Grayson who was looking shamelessly at the ground avoiding the world around him, ashamed.
"Jake please don't-"

"What things?" I interrupted Grayson again, it was becoming word vomit whenever Grayson spoke I threw up words. Suddenly Grayson looked afraid, as though if Jake were to say something that would ruin him forever, which me me even more curious.
All eyes were on Jake, Aaron had his eyebrows up, he was on the edge of his seat. The attention was what fed his ego. He kept us in suspense and finally spoke.

"hmm... You know what, why spoil our reunion with the past. I'm sure if it was SOOO bad Grayson would've told you already since he's such an honest guy" Jake snarks sarcastically. Everyone sighed with disappoint, even me. I was ready to know what it was Grayson did that was so terrible he couldn't even tell Aaron. Grayson sighed with relief and glared at Jake. "Ahhh look at the time I better get going, good to see you again Gray. Oh and nice to meet you Taya." Jake grabs my hand and kisses the top then walks back into the shadows. Suddenly all attention was on Grayson.

"Yo. Gray what was he talking about?" Aaron mentions. I add on to his question, "what was he talking about? What did you do?"
Grayson swallows hard and clenches his jaw then fakes a smile. "It's nothing guys, it wasn't that serious. Promise." He finally says. A part of me believed him but the other part was screaming for me to run because I don't know what he was hiding. But my heart was louder than my mind.

I smiled at him and nodded. For the rest of the night we all hung out, talked and laughed we made the most we could after the tense encounter with Jake. We stayed up until the sun rose, once the sun crept above the ocean we all headed to Junos and fell asleep.

------ HOURS LATERS ----

I heard a television playing, the high pitched noises hurt my ears. I open one eye to try and adjust to the brightness of the day. I struggle to open the other one but I managed, once both of my eyes opened I looked to see I had fallen asleep on Grayson. There he laid, so peaceful and beautiful. I just wanted to kiss him and tell him how much I actually liked him. I laid back down under his left arms which was extended out from where I had fallen asleep. I loved the feeling of being in his arms even if it did mean nothing to him. I smile big and close my eyes, when suddenly I felt an arm wrap around me and a husky voice gently whisper, "good morning."
my body shook at the deep voice that had entered my ear. I looked at him as his arms were still wrapped around me. He gently rubbed my arm then got up. I watched him stretch, his muscles flexed as well as his back. I couldn't stop staring at him. He licked his lips and spoke, "We should probably get you home. It's 11:34 a.m."

My eyes shot open and I jumped up so quick I got light headed. I needed to get home before my dad found out I was gone, it would break his heart thinking I left him. "Shit, I really need to go." I loudly whisper trying not to wake the others. Grayson nods and quickly jogs me to the door. We quickly run to my house, the cool wind ripping through my body made my throat hurt. My heart was beating out of my chest once we got there we stopped and gasped for the air that was desperately needed. Grayson's put his hands in his knees and started to breath hard, "thanks for-" he tries to catch his breath, "thanks for coming with me, I had a great time." He said breathy. I captured a breath and smiled. "I'm glad I did." He rises and gives me a hug which lifted me off the ground. I felt like I was floating, but all good things must come to an end I quickly let go of him and ran inside. "bye gray." I quickly holler before sneaking in. He waved then started to jog back. I tried my best to open the door quietly and try to come in invisibly and when I did I saw my dad standing there, not with sadness, but with fury.
