Grayson raised his eyebrows slightly then frowned, "What the fuck do you mean killed?" He starts to yell. Jake eye balls around the park telling gray to quiet down. He laughs one more time dryly, "you'll find out soon enough." He looks at me for a second then back at Grayson, "Watch your back." He laughs once more then disappears behind the park and into the busy town. Grayson stood there trying to process what Jake had meant. He swallowed hard and turned to face me I could see in his face the emotions tugging at him. Paranoid, Grayson runs toward me and holds on tightly to my arm and we begin walking toward Ricos. We were walking in a rather fast pace, I looked up at Grayson who kept eyeballing the people we sped past.

"gray..?" I say soft, trying not to make him panic more, "are you alright?"
He scoffs then sighs. "How could I-" he raised his voice but as soon as he realized his volume he started to quiet down, "how could I be alright when Jake just warned me someone is going to die? How are you okay with thi- you know what .. he's probably messing with us." Grayson starts to laugh nervously. He was mental now. I raised my eyebrows and opened my mouth to speak but though it would be best to stay silent. We finally made it to Ricos, my arm was sore from Grayson holding onto it so tightly. Aaron sees us and jerks his head back signaling for us to come over. He was smiling as usual but when he saw Grayson's face he immediately stopped. "Whoa gray what's wrong?" Aaron says stern and concerned.

Before Grayson spoke we sat down in the bright orange booth by the tinted windows. Grayson slid in first and me after him and we were facing Aaron. Grayson licked his lips and began to explain what had just happened. The deeper he got into the story the more Aaron started to act how Grayson was: paranoid. But he soon snapped out of it when reality struck him, "wait.. so you saw Jake and didn't tell me?!? You know I was trying to kick his ass earlier!" He says frustrated. Grayson just rolls his eyes and begins to explain his conspiracies, "listen.. I think he did that either to fuck with us or to actually warn us about something bad that's about to go down." Grayson stopped talking once the waitress came over to pour the glass of waters for us. We bod towards her for appreciation then get back to talking. "But wait- even if something was about to go down why would he tell you? Is he gonna do it? Is he gonna kill someone. One of us?" Aaron had so many questions his brain was gonna fry.

"Nah- me and just used to be buddies he wouldn't warn me if he was gonna do some shit. He would've just done it. Plus, Jakes no killer, he probably would've had someone else kill us but even then he still wouldn't have warned  us." Grayson explains. He pauses a minute to sip his water and that's when I began to speak, "This is way to much chaos for today my head is starting to hurt, and the thought of one of ya getting killed aches my heart." I rub my temples in exhaustion. Grayson's nods sadly in agreement, "If ANYTHING were to happen to you guys I have no clue what I would do, you guys are my everything for sure." We all sat there in silence for a minute picturing what life would be like without each other. Me: I'd probably be dead. Not only dead, but alone, and that to me is the most painful death. Within seconds Grayson's phone vibrates the booth he slides it out of his back pocket and looks at the screen 'unknown number ' everyone froze and stared at his screen. Could this be the beginning of what Jake was warning us about?

We weren't so sure but Grayson was willing to risk it to find out. He answered the phone and begins to talk, "h-hello?" He says soft. He takes it off his ear and sets it on the table on speaker for all of us to hear. It was quiet for a minute but then the once unknown number, became very clear.
"Hello brother."
