I could feel the smile take over my face. I cover it with my hand and nod at Grayson. I stealthy move through the obstacle of clothes of the floor to turn off my lights and shut the door, I yell a quick goodnight to my dad and jog to the window. As Grayson sees me approach the pane he quickly runs over to be there to catch me. He extends his hands up to my direction. My body shook, the thought of him making sure I didn't get and hurt and being in his arms again made my heart beat at a fast past. I wasn't used to that, I was only used to the slowing rhythm.

I take the leap and Grayson catches me before I hit the ground. I was so close to him I could see the green tint in his eyes and the scar that lay light on his face. He set me down gently and before I could speak he grabs my hand and we began to run. It was so chill I could see his breath leave his body and form to clouds into the air. We ran for a couple moments and we started to slow down as we arrived at the destination. Trying to catch his breath, Grayson says, "I know you're probably thinking I'm crazy or something, or you're wondering why I came back to you.."

He finally catches a breath and speaks normal, "it's because I wanted to hang out with you again, talk with you again. That night when we shared all our feelings.... I felt like I could tell you anything and be myself around you, no one, especially a girl, has ever made me feel like that." He smiles. Is this actually happening? Does he like me and taking me to be alone with him and watch the sun set or something?hold my hand and comfort me through these hard times we both had encountered. Before I could respond he grabs my hands and leads me to this abandoned skate park where Aaron and some other runaways waited under neath a pale light on top of a ramp.

"Welcome to our sanctuary." He smiles.  Okay so not a date, but at least I'm with him. We walked towards everyone as he begins to introduce them. "These are some of the kids at Junos who had similar stories to you, some family issues and I wanted to show you that you're not alone." He begins to introduce everyone by name and their stories.

"This is Daní her mom died in a car accident which led her dad to start doing drugs and he made her by him illegal drugs and if he didn't he would beat her and now she's here surrounded by people who care for her and know she's important."
He continues to introduce us but his words fade out of my mind as I look at his beautiful soul. I couldn't stop looking at how happy and passionate he was about helping people feel loved. And how he wanted me to feel important and brought everyone together to be apart of something. I couldn't keep the smile in.

".... and so he and his sister are with us now." Grayson finishes.
"So what is this like a support group?" I question him as I get a good look at all my new 'friends'. Grayson shakes his head, "No, we're are people with the same story who are gonna get through life together, we're friends." He smirks. Aaron begins to smile as he sees something that made him go pale. He quickly runs over to Grayson and whispers something in his ear and point behind us. We all turn around to see a slim figure creep around the corner and towards us slowly. I couldn't get a good glimpse of who it was but once I saw Grayson's face, I could tell he knew EXACTLY who it was. I turn back at the figure who gets more eerie each step he takes, after the silence surrounded the air, it spoke.

"Miss me?"
I suddenly felt a grip on my arm as Grayson pulls me towards him. "We gotta go now Taya.." we creep our way to junos but the figure was too quick.
"Grayson, you're gonna leave without saying goodbye? rude..." he laughs. Grayson clenches his jaw and faces him. "Jake... how did you find me?" Gray growls.
"Well it wasn't hard actually.. I just asked around-" Jake says as he peers over Grayson's shoulder and see me. I can feel him staring into my soul and it made me insecure.
"Who's this lovely girl you've got hidden from me Gray?" He says as he sneaks around Grayson and grabs my hand, he takes a step back to check me out and then Grayson pulls me back.
"This is Taya.. Taya this is.. Jake." Grayson mutters.

"Hi.." I whisper behind Grayson shoulder.
"You don't know who I am? Well with you being a pretty girl and Grayson's 'ways' I'm surprised he hasn't brought you to me after all we were partners back then. I thought we still had a connection." Jake smirks
I raise an eyebrow.
"Jake stop don't sa-"
"What do you mean partners?" I interrupt Grayson. Jake smiles big and suddenly all eyes were on him.
