***Simone's POV***

"I'm taking you out. Get on."  Trey pleaded.
"I'm not riding on that motorcycle." I folded my hand childishly. It took almost half an hour for Trey to convince me to get on his motorcycle.

"Where are we going?" I asked, my voice shaking as I bounced up and down on the motorcycle.
"It's a surprise." Trey said, keeping me in suspense.
I closed my eyes and wrapped my hands tightly around Trey's torso. The cool breeze played on my face. I felt stress free. I could do this everyday. Just then the bike stopped.
"We're here." Trey said.
I opened my eyes. We were in front of The Pastry House. "Why are we here?" I asked.
"Do I have to explain why I'm taking my girlfriend on a date?" Trey smiled taking my hand in his.
I was a bit hesitant. "What if someone we know sees us together?"

"Stop worrying Simone. We're just having ice cream."  I finally gave up and went inside with him.

We entered and a waitress came up to us instantly. "You're table is ready." She told us. We walked over to it and sat down. We placed our orders and waited for our desserts to arrive. Trey took my hand in his. "This is where I first met the most beautiful girl in the entire world."
I couldn't stop blushing.
"You're so romantic." I smiled, squeezing his hand.
What did I ever do to deserve such a thoughtful, romantic guy. I couldn't stop smiling.
The waitress finally came with our orders.
"Can I ask you something?" Trey said.

"Sure. Go ahead." I was a little nervous.

"When we first met, why did you lie to me?" he was looking straight into my eyes.
"W-what?" I asked nervously.
"Well...when we first met you said you failed an exam." He never took his eyes off me.

"Hhmm....yea I did." I told him.

"But you're such a smart girl. You're always studying. I don't understand how you could fail an exam. "

"I was kinda stressed." I told him truthfully.

"Stressed about what?" he asked.

My heart started beating faster as I remembered the accident. I could see Samantha's face smiling at me as she drove. I got up and started to leave.
"Simone. What's wrong?" Trey sounded very concerned.

"Am I on trial? Why are you all up in my business?" I shouted, earning glares from the other customers.

"I was only being concerned." Trey said, taking my hand in his.
I pulled away from him.
"Leave me alone." I screamed. I was getting really irritated. "I'm going home." I stormed out.
I didn't remember that Trey bought me here and I didn't have any money to take a taxi.
A few minutes later Trey came outside. "Simone. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to get you upset. I wish you could just talk to me."
"Just take me home." I couldn't stop the tears from falling.
Trey took a step closer to me. "Simone. Just talk to me." He begged.

"Just take me home." I said through gritted teeth.

He didn't protest any further.

The ride home seemed longer than usual. I sobbed as the accident replayed in my mind.
"Are you OK?" Trey asked for the hundredth time. "Is there anything I can do?"
"No. It's OK. I'll be alright." I sobbed into his back leaving tear marks in his shirt.

The bike slowed down.
"I'm not home yet." I noted.

"Oh. Are your parents OK with me taking you home on my motorcycle?"
"Oh." I never thought of that. I slowly got off the bike. Trey tried kissing me but I pulled away from him.
"I'll call you later." He told me before riding away.
I know Trey was trying his best to be there for me but I really needed someone to talk to. Someone who understands what I'm going through. Tears were still in my eyes.
I adjusted my backpack and started walking home. I sighed. I can't go home. It's too stressful being home and seeing Samantha's photos, knowing I can no longer talk to her. I decided to stop at Josh's house. He always knows how to make me feel better.

I didn't want to disturb them so I decided to enter through the kitchen door at the back of the house. It must be dinner time I thought as I went in. I could see Josh's father seated at the dinner table. I wiped my tears, took up a plate and decided to join them.
"....and that is how we met. You're son is an amazing guy."  I heard a familiar voice. This cant be real. I must be dreaming. I listened.
"So you guys will be going to the ball together? You can take my car." I heard Mr. Bowers say.
"Wow. Thanks Dad." I heard Josh say.

"So....are you friends with Simone?" I heard Mrs. Bowers ask Davia.

Davia cleared her throat. "Hmm yes. She actually introduced us." She lied.

"This is so romantic." Mrs. Bowers spoke. "Give her a kiss."

Yuck!

I couldn't take this. How could Josh be doing this to me. Davia couldn't be the girl he's missing game night to be with. This is so wrong.
I heard Mrs. Bowers cheering so I figured they were kissing. I placed the plate on the kitchen counter and decided to leave. I would be hurting myself if I stayed any longer.
"Kimberly can you go get the dessert honey." I heard Mrs. Bowers say.

I left quietly, not wanting them to know I was there. How could Josh be lying to me? He was having an affair with my enemy behind my back. This was unbelievable. I walked home thinking of ways to punish Josh. He shouldn't be lying to me. He's my best friend. My Forever and Always and over my dead body would I allow someone like Davia to take him away from me.
